Highly recommended shower head.
Great shower head! The water pressure is fantastic and the 7 settings with pause are nice additions. My wife and I both love it. Delta also has amazing customer service if you ever do run into an issue. I will purchase Delta for life due to the excellent customer service alone. Please keep up the great work Delta, not all companies stand behind their products like you do!

poor craftmanship in the connecting hardware
The showerhead itself is fantastic. The cheap plastic connector to the water pipe is awful - two have cracked on us. Where are the real metal parts that hold up? Waste of money to buy these. The first one leaked immediately, and completely split down the side after 6 weeks, causing water to spray on the ceiling, above the surround, on the bathroom floor, and across the room to the vanity & mirror. Bought a second one, since they also don't sell a compatible replacement part at Menards. The second one also cracked immediately, and was installed handtight, no tools. Screwing onto a standard size water pipe in the wall. We haven't had issues with other brands in the past.

Poor inferior plastic parts Do not buy.
Sorry to mention it I had major problems with the connector the pease from the body of the shower. The plastic nut going to the wall after several days, crack and sprung a leak. And had to replace the plastic broken part after splitting and developing a major leak. 🥺

I like nothing about this shower head. The hose is too long it gets in my way when I'm trying to rinse my hair or wash the dogs. The shower head is way too big to hold on to. The water pressure is super low on every setting it is essentially useless can't believe how bad this thing is. I've only had it for a week and I'm going to toss it and try something else.

Loved it til it broke.
Installed easily and worked well until the fitting that attaches to the house plumbing broke. Only numbers on the unit were for a plumbing standard.

Why is water coming out of the shower head when only running water for a bath?
Hello!
The issue you are describing is a common installation issue called shower-rise. A new cartridge will not resolve shower rise.
There can be one of several reasons for shower rise
The valve could be upside down.
The length from the valve to the tub spout is outside of the 8" to 18" rule.
There is more than one 90-degree angle elbow.
Something other than ½" smooth copper or galvanized pipe was used going to the spout. No push fittings. No "shark-bite" fittings. No cast or drop ear elbows.
Something restricting the water flow to the spout, e.g. solder or something lodged in the pipe. If this is the cause of shower-rise it is possible to remove the blockage by removing the tub spout; then, feeding a plumber’s snake or a speedometer cable up through the tub drop. The act of feeding it causes it to twirl and loosen the blockage. Be sure to flush the valve before reinstalling the tub spout. Be sure to check the tub spout itself for blockage. Sending a shower cartridge will NOT fix this issue. The obstruction from the valve to the tub outlet must be remedied.
