Replacing your shower head is one of the quickest, simplest upgrades you can make to your shower. This shower head features eight spray settings and installs in less than 20 minutes - no special tools required. While other products may gather unsightly mineral buildup over time, Delta® soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look — with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, then easily restarts the water with the temperature where you left off. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can help the environment and worry less about depleting your supply of hot water. Not only is this a sturdy, modern looking shower head it’s also made a significant difference in the feel of the water pressure. Good buy at a reasonable price.

I thought I would have to wait until my funds were more fluid to get a good shower heads, minium $100 right? WRONG!!! Delta has proven to be for the little man!!! This thing is like a rain shower head. The big ones that are like 12x12 easily over $150. I bought this bad monster for $25!!! So if your reading this...STOP! You should have had your shoes on by now heading out to get this Amazing showerhead. I have never been one to write a reviews but I had to say Thank you to the folks at Delta! Your products are genuinely good, not disposable like so many products.

I like the pressure and spray pattern offerings. The face doesn't have super deep impressions, so it is easy to keep clean. And it was such a great price point.

I am trying to install new shower head model # 75898BL. But the threaded connection is wider than my shower pipe. The pipe measures 1/2" inside dia. but the shower connection appears to be closer to 3/4". Literature states "Fits standard 1/2"-14 NPT pipe"

Is the outside of this shower head finished in metal or plastic?

Does this installation require plumber's tape?
