Delta wall mounted towel bars
I searched months for the perfect towel bars for our new summer home.
I found several that were great on other sites, but they were much to expensive.
For months we went without any towel bars in the bathroom.
Then I found Build and ordered the ones that I thought would be perfect.

Great design

LOVE the flat black Trinsic Collection!!
I absolutely love the look of the Delta Trinsic Collection!! I used both the bath hardware and matching faucets in both of my bathroom remodels of our 1900's farmhouse. The only downside to the installation was that the template was off by about 1-1/2" (shorter than the actual bar) so we had to cut the bar in order to avoid patching and repainting sheet rock.

terrible mounting hardware
I've installed numerous bath accessories and the mounting hardware for these is terrible. Includes drywall anchors that are way to heavy duty for this application and they break when screwed in as they are a rather soft plastic. Should just be the normal push-in anchors.

Clean lines - beware the template
Nice clean lines. The finish on one of the towel bars was bubbling & pealing and will be returned. If you do the installation yourself, beware of the template Delta provides - its WRONG - off by 1".

Great towel bar design. Installation is a bit tricky to make sure both brackets are perfectly level. I installed multiple towel bars, and some of the rods spin when you pull the towel. It makes a loud screeching sound; annoying but manageable.

Perfect towel rack for a modern space!

Sturfy & easy installation
This is my second Delta towel bar that I installed. I used this one for hand towels and the 24" one for bath towels. Similar to the installation of the 24" towel bar, this was very simple and instructions are well laid out.
Again, this is a sturdy towel bar. Since this is being used for hand towels, I don't expect weight to be an issue, but it does not shift or move on its brackets.
One thing that is nice about the delta series is the simplicity of the pieces matching, the towel bars, faucets, shower trim, tub trim, etc. As with the other Delta towels bars, this is a great purchase.

Trinsic towel bar
We have the Trinsic line in remodel of two bathrooms. The quality is excellent and contemporary in style. Our only negative is that the toilet paper holder is problematic allowing the roll to fly off and roll across the room unless you use caution. This feature could be remedied with a simple alteration to the engineering. We knew from reviews about this issue before purchase but wanted to keep a fixtures in the same line.

can Trinsic towel bar be cut
18 inch will not fit area. Need an inch smaller. Is bar in 3 pieces so it can be cut to fit.

Thank you for your question. This bar can be cut to fit. However, be careful, as there are plugs stuck in either end about 1" away from the end. If you cut the bar, do not
cut into the plug. Push plug out after cutting and reuse plug.

I read a review that the towel bar "screeches" when taking towel off. Do you know why this happens and what can be done about it?

Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Trinsic® 18" Towel Bar and I am happy to help you today.
It may be best to adhere the bar to the posts to prevent the bar from spinning. A small dab of silicone sealant inside the disassembled bar will take care of any rubbing and friction causing a "screeching" sound.

What size kind of set screws come with the 18" towel bar?
Where can I get replacement set screws? Can Delta provide screws? If not, what is the point type, overall length, and thread size of the set screws? I assume 8/32" indicates the width of the screw?

I have these towel bars and I am trying to install them - they have this wire that is supposed to "flex" to install the bar handle to the wall mount but they don't work. I visited YouTube - professional agreed. Do you have another solution.

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 75918.
This towel bar currently includes mounting hardware that is secured by a set screw. To install a towel bar with a wire clip, hold the post at the base and place the post over the bracket with the bottom edge against the wall. The catch at the bottom of the post should hook onto the spring at the bottom of the bracket. Then push the post upward and snap over the top edge of the bracket.

From what I can tell in photos, it looks like the ends of the towel bars of the Triassic models have some kind of caps and the bars are hollow. If this is correct what material are the caps the made of?

Is the Venetian bronze lighter than the traditional oil rubbed bronze? I am looking for a more dark copper bronze.

The Delta Venetian bronze and oil rubbed bronze finishes are both dark bronze finishes. Oil rubbed bronze is a dark, muted finish with bronze highlights. Venetian bronze is a low-gloss, deeply warm finish with subdued highlights.
