Excellent product!
Great quality/price. Solid and nice finish (purchased nickel and black to match Lacava finishes)
Do know that it will only hold the toilet paper facing the way it is displayed. You cant really flip it as the "stopper" will not hold the roll.

Can you install it vertically instead of horizontally?

The tissue holder can be installed in any direction. Unfortunately, the bar can not be removed from its base. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Can this be mounted on the left side of the toilet? If so, will the stopper still be on the top of the bar?

We do not recommend mounting this to a toilet as it could damage it. More so, the mounting hardware requires mounting it to a stud.
