Poor Quality Control - colors are not right
We have these in our new build, ordered chrome and the anchors for the towel rods are chrome but due to some manufacturing error the bar itself is polished nickel! Our vendor has ordered them 3 more times and they are all wrong for multiple rod sizes. Super disappointed. Would love to get these right to match the faucet but our vendor is telling us to pick something else?!

Item is fine but the measurement from left to right when installing (distance between left bar holder and the right bar holder) was inaccurate by just short of a half inch. Not cool.

Great Towel - classic and very functional.
This is a beautiful, but sturdy, bath grouping by Delta. I have this in a beach condo that is a rental and I always get compliments. You will be happy with this set.

A little pricey, but worth it
Solid construction, good styling and finish. It's certainly not a cheaply built or flimsy towel bar like you might find at a discount retailer. However, for the money, it would be nice if they designed an easier way to install. The old school, allen wrench in the set screw is a pain to install.

Matching Ashlyn Towel Bar

Q&A
One side of my towel bar keeps falling down, and when I try to put it back up, the set screw doesn't seem to "go in" all the way. Is the screw supposed to go underneath the bracket?

This model can be installed to wall studs, ceramic tile, sheetrock or even hollow doors. If you are installing the bracket to a wall stud, please ensure the screw is going into the wall stud.
First you will figure out where you would like to place this towel bar, make dots to verify, place the mounting bracket on the wall and screw the screws in the wall using the specific tool required.

I have two towel bars installed on the inside of the bathroom door. Recently, one side of one of the bars is not holding in place. The screw on the bottom of the flange cover will not thread behind the anchor plate and the bar keeps falling. Can I fix?

What size allen wrench is required to tighten down the set screw on body (ends that the bar fits into)? The installer did not leave us with the tool. The body falls off while putting on or removing a towel.

The M4 set screw should use a 2mm wrench.

I would like to mount this on the wall opposite the shower head. Can a wet washcloth be hung on this to dry or would it damage the finish?

Allowing water to evaporate on the finished surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. This can damage the finish over time. The clear topcoat on our organic finishes, including matte black and Venetian bronze, can be especially susceptible to damage from mineral deposits.
We recommend always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. See our frequently asked questions for more information:
