Quality issue
The bar is a different finish from the ends. Should be polished chrome, looks like stainless steel. I can’t use...
I have ordered twice and both the same. I’m done. Too bad I have 3 sets of faucets already! Disappointed in Delta quality on the Ashlyn towel bars. Trying to find something else to coordinate so still no towel bars in my new 2 bathroom remodel.

Delta products are always designed and made well
Once accidentally a wall mount bracket was discarded. I called Delta customer service and was assisted by courteous helpful. People I received my new part within 10 days.

Nice towel bar
I really like the look of the Ashlyn towel bar. One recommendation I would suggest for those who are interested in buying one is to make sure that it is installed snugly tight to keep the towel bar itself from rolling. Since the bar is round, it will roll and make an annoying noise and bang against each end holder. Otherwise so far it seems to be a very durable and well presentable product.

Check Length Carefully
Be careful to check your length requirements. The Ashlyn series assembly is longer then 18" or 24" center-to-center mounting by 1-3/8 inches. It will not align with existing holes that are 18" or 24" centers. I had to cut 1-3/8" off each bar. Chrome finish is difficult to cut.

Can I shorten the towel bar rod
Can I cut down the towel bar rod? Any suggestions on how to?

Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Ashlyn 24" Towel Bar and I am happy to assist you today.
While this towel bar can be shortened, we do not recommend modifying our towel bars as this will void the warranty for the model and we cannot recommend any tools which can be used to do so.
Unfortunately, at this time we do not carry replacement bars if a mis-cut is made, you will need to purchase and a brand new model to replace the bar.

What is the Ashlyn towel bar and coordinating bath accessories made of? Is the underlying metal brass, aluminum or another metal?

I have the Ashlyn series going into the master bath, and would like to install the 24" towel bar inside the shower - can I do that? the shower is open at the top
