is this meant to be installed with lever pointed down? or front/rear? (side mounted on Kohler toilet). ours is installed down and it seems to get stuck in the up position causing the tank to continually refill. could you post / share install instructions?

Will this work to replace a side mount trip lever, specifically on the Kohler Tresham 2 piece toilet?

This tank lever does work to pull to the flush chain on a left-side mount.

I have an American Standard left-side mount lever. Your model 77560 doesn't provide enough lift to allow enough water flow into the bowl. The movement is more side-to-side vs. up & down. The instruction sheet shows a front-mount installation. Guidance?
