My question is about the 8” towel bar. Does 8” measure the bar itself (i.e. not the end holders) or does it measure from outside end to outside end?

I'm looking for the Stryke toilet paper holder in chrome. Is the Stryke 8" mini towel bar consider the toilet paper holder?

I'm confused. Is this what people are using for hand towels next to sinks? Would love to see a photo, because I've never seen this style before used as anything other than a toilet paper holder.
Have this towel rod but box was opened and I’m missing brackets to hang to the wall. Can I get new ones?
