Is it possible to shorten this towel bar? It is an inch too long for the space I have.

Can this be installed in a wet environment (i.e. shower)?

Thank you for your question. You can install this in a wet environment, but as all of our Delta faucets, we do recommend to wipe dry once wet.

In the photo it appears that there are white disks on the ends of the towel bar. Are the ends all metal or dips there a porcelain or plastic white disk? Thank you.
