REVIEWS
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Purchase [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall quality is good and seems to be the right height to accommodate a vesse- style sink. The only downside to this purchase was that it didn’t come with a drain assembly, most other faucets include the drain assembly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vessel Faucet It came in box as it was described. We have not yet installed it but I am sure it will hold up to its reputation as a quality product. The finish is unique and we are happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faucet It’s perfect! It stands high above my sink placed on top of the table. The flow is perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Faucet sprays across bathroom sometimes We bought this a year ago and love the look, grandkids love watching the water come out but several times a week when we turn the water on it blasts clear across the bathroom like the waterline had air in it. I have checked the water lines, noting leaking. Love the faucet so I am hoping someone has an idea how to stop this. None of out other faucets which are all Delta do this. Thank you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the flow of water into my vessel. I needed a new faucet since my other one began to leak. I decided to go with a Delta because of the height and look, It looks beautiful in my bathroom and flows nicely into my vessel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This faucet with riser is absolutely stunning. It is heavy and very well made. It definately is a focal piece in the bathroom. It is obvious that it is not made of cheap materials, plastics etc.
Date published: 2019-11-04
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very simple installation. The faucet has the feel of quality while in use. We had mounted it in conjunction with a petrified wood vessel sink that stands 6.5" off the counter surface. The height of the faucet offered good clearance for the sink and a dimension slightly greater than the golden ratio. Flow is limited to provide a cascade rather than a gush of water. Down side is cost.

I have 2 Cassidy 798LF bathroom faucets & the flow is very low on one of them. I removed all the parts to the cartridge but I don't know how to get the restrictor out. Do you just grab that brass piece with needle nose & pull it out?

Asked by: Harv
Hello Harv, Thank you for your question, I would be happy to help you. The restrictor can be removed by using needle nose pliers and pulling it out, That is where you will find the debris and cleaning that will help increase the flow. I purchased the Cassidy Single Handle Channel Vessel Bathroom Faucet in 2017 and the hot water pressure has slowed significantly. The pressure at the supply is still high, but not at the outlet. The cold water pressure is fine. Thoughts needed.

Asked by: Vern
Hi Vern, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet Cassidy™ Single Handle Channel Vessel Bathroom Faucet in Champagne Bronze MODEL#: 798LF-CZ. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. We do recommend flushing the valve; It will allow the removal of debris in the lines. Here are the steps for flushing your faucet. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. You will need Phillip's screwdriver and Start by popping the cap off the front of the handle. Then you would remove your handle with the screwdriver. Please pull the handle off of the cartridge, you will then find the cap and bonnet nut. Both the cap and bonnet nut would be unthreaded from the faucet. The next part you should see is the cartridge, please grab and pull it out. Then using needle nose pillars grab the brass insert and pull it out. Under the insert is the flow restrictor and this is where the blockage would be located, once cleaned follow the directions in reverse for reinstall. Lastly, Place the towel around the faucet on the counter and the bucket over the valve where you removed all the internal parts. Please turn both water supplies on. Please flush the faucet out for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the hot and cold supplies off, reassemble and check for the flow. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

I have very low water pressure with this faucet. I have two of them in my bathroom. I removed both cartridges and placed them back; now there is no water pressure at all. What can I do?

Asked by: CMoore
Hello, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. We do recommend flushing the valve; it will allow the removal of debris in the lines which is causing the no flow. Here are the steps for flushing your faucet: Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. You will need a 1/8” Allen wrench, a towel, and a bucket. 1. Please start but shutting off the water to both hold and cold supplies, and then put the handle in the on position to drain the water from the faucet. (This will also ensure the shut-off is complete off.). 2. Please remove your handle with the 1/8" Allen wrench. There may be a blue/red button cover that can be removed with a sharp nail file or tweezers. 4. Please pull the handle off of the cap, which can be unthreaded from the body. This should only be hand tight, but if you need to use a tool, we would recommend a strap wrench. (soaking a rag in 50/50 solution and wrapping around anything too tight will help loosen up the threads) 6. You will now see the Cam & Packing and stem to the ball assemble. Please remove these. 7. If you look into the valve, you should see a seat and spring that would need to be removed. Use the Allen wrench to place inside the seat and spring and tilt and pull out. Next, you would need to remove the spout body, please use a side-to-side motion as you pull up on the spout body. Once the spout body has been removed, use that same Allen wrench for the seat and spring removal to push the diverter out from the inside. At this time, I recommend placing all the parts into a bowl for reassembling. 8. Place the towel around the faucet on the counter and the bucket over the valve where you removed all the internal parts. Please turn both water supplies on. Please flush the faucet out for about 30 seconds to a minute. 9. After this, shut the hot and cold supplies off, reassemble and check for the flow and hammer sound. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions.
