Hello, Can this kit be used to update our Delta knob handle to this lever style?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B112900C-R.
This faucet would be installed with the included PTR188700-UN valve body, or this valve would need to be already installed.
Please confirm that your current faucet uses the RP70538 valve cartridge to verify that this new faucet would use the same valve.

Got. This new shower unit and it doesn’t get hot when you turn it on the hot position

With a new shower installation, the Rotational Limit Stop will need to be adjusted. Please refer to page 7 in the link below. We also recommend flushing the valve to remove any excess debris or solder.

How do you set it to get more hot water out of it

The shower unit can be adjusted, I have attached a link to show how to adjust the RLS on our Delta shower cartridges. This will provide the option of hotter water, also we recommend making sure the water heater temperature is set to 120 or lower.

Where can I get a black trim kit for the Delta foundation ( B112900c) ?
