Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low water Pressure Put this unit in yesterday. The issues I had seem to be prevalent in this design. Handle set screw design to contact on the corner of the hex nut vice the side as everyone know is the correct position for a set screw. All the pressure in the world via allen wrench won't prevent this from working it's way loose. Need to file a flat on the corner so it works as it should. Also water pressure issue. Just like others reporting here, cold has some pressure but it drops as it goes to hot. Even with the safety piece moved all the way to max the hot water pressure is very low, even to the spigot. This unit does not meet the specs of 1.75gpm to the shower and 7gpm to the tub. Previous unit had lots of pressure and much hotter temp. Lines are not blocked with debris. Safe and efficient doesn't mean it is practical.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall I can only give it a 4 My contractor installed this and after a few weeks the handle was loose and one day it just came off. I thought it was missing a screw so I contacted customer service and they sent out a new one. I didn't know how to put it back on and I did not have an allen wrench so I had to call the contractor back, but he was able to fix the problem. it's nice and doesn't leak but obviously failed so I can only give it a 4, but the customer service response is a 5.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from missing parts and water is either hot hot or cold screw to hold handle missing from package. Scalding setting is not useful. Water is either scalding HOT or COLD COLD. Mostly the water pressure is COLD. Will not purchase again and trying to figure what I am going to do with this faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible I have been searching for the cartridge for Delta model #B114900. I drove around for 3 hrs looking at every hardware store. Nobody had it. Another 1/2 hr online and still nothing! I now have no shower until I find this piece !

what model of valve goes with this trim kit? Is the valve compatible with new trim kits in matt black?

Hello Lizo, Thank you for your inquiry! The valve assembly of the Delta Foundations Tub and Shower B114900 is not sold as a separate part. This model does not use our multi-choice universal rough-in valve assembly, like most of our other units. However, the B114915C is the only other full tub shower faucet, that uses the same in wall valve assembly. Best regards, Tanya

We do not have any recommended hole sizes for installing the Delta Foundations Tub and Shower B114900 faucet, it would be the preference of the installer or home owner. cold and hot water not mixing, had a contractor install the B11290 Delta Shower Faucet, I noticed that when you turn on the water it is cold then as you are turning the handle to hot the water turns off then on with the hot. how do I fix this issue

I've been trying to buy a cartridge replacement part for the Delta B114900, but can not find it anywhere. Can someone help me?. I need 2 pieces as my faucets are leaking and I don't want to replace the whole thing.

If the faucet leaks, we recommend to replace the RP70538 valve cartridge assembly with the RP73625 check valve assemblies. I am trying to replace the cartridge to fix the leak problem. I could get to this point but did not understand how to go further. I had to remove the outer rim asset because I was not able to pull out cartridge. See pic. Please show video on how to do

Hello Deltaman, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a video for removing the valve cartridge assembly for the Delta Foundations Tub and Shower B114900 faucet. Once the handle, trim sleeve and escutcheon plate have been removed, you would need to unscrew the bonnet that is holding the cartridge in the valve body. At this time, the cartridge assembly along with the check valve assembly can be removed/ replaced. Best regards, Tanya

I recently had the B114900 installed by my contractor. It worked great but now the pressure to the faucet/shower head, has diminished noticeably. I am trying to correct this myself without a contractor charge. What are my options? Thanks, Stern

Hi, Stern! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your faucet. You may have some debris trapped in the valve body or cartridge assembly that is blocking the water flow. You may need to clean out the cartridge assembly and flush out the valve body. First turn off the water supply to the faucet. Remove the handle assembly, unscrew the bonnet ring and remove the cartridge assembly and all seals. Rinse and clean the cartridge out thoroughly. Turn both the hot and cold water back on for 10 to 15 seconds to flush out the valve body. After the allotted time, turn the water off and reinstall all of the components. Make sure that there is no debris on the cartridge assembly and seals. If this does not fix the issue, you may need to replace the valve cartridge assembly, RP70538 and the check valve assembly, RP73625. Best Regards, Rosanna

Replaceable with series 17?

Is this replaceable with a series 17 trim and valve kit without replacing the piping unit?

Thank you for your question, Ljh08. The model B114900-SS does not use our multi-choice universal rough. You cannot switch to a 17 series trim using your existing rough. The entire faucet, trim and rough would have to be replaced. Best regards, Tanya

I cannot get hot water. Only lukewarm water when I turn to 'H' Hot.

I've uploaded a picture of my delta shower valve. Can I do something to adjust this so I can get Hot water??
