Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed We bought this fixture on short notice. Our old fixture deverter knob went bad. We went to Home Depot and bought the Delta Foundations B114900C-SS. My contractor working on our other bathroom installed it got us. He said It was not working as it should he said something was put in backwards so he had to revise it. Works properly now. I went to use the shower an saw there was no cap on screw hole on the handle. It looks ridiculous. The hole is right behind the handle totally looks unfinished. I thought maybe it was not included in the box so I called Delta CS and they told me there is not one included with this model. Also it’s not all Delta parts the assembly is made by another company. I would not have bought this one had I known it did not include a cap for this hole. Now it’s to late. I’m going g to have to find something to cover the hole water will eventually build up inside. Poor design flaw!!!!:(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible headache horrible faucet!!! Like so many others that bought this faucet and they’re just having horrible horrible problems with it do not be like us do not purchase this faucet. The handle falls off over and over again until you buy a longer screw. Once I put the longer screw in it had not fallen off yet however it moves so much that it’s near impossible to get it at the right temperature. Delta has not been any help and tells me it was a bad install. AVOID !!! My old Delta this replaced was outstanding!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Faucets I bought faucets for a shower and the second for bath/shower. The water pressure seems to be slightly less than than the previous very old two handled faucets. Might I suggest some markings for Hot & Cold and an arrow on the handle. Finally got used to these and am okay

Water is dripping out of the tub spout. This is a new installation Parts were bought at home depot. What part needs to be replaced to fix the water leak? Would it be the check valve asembly? There were no external leaks.

Asked by: Mike
Hi Mike, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about, B114900C-SS! During the first few days you use your faucet, a small amount of debris may be flushed out of your pipe system. This happens even though the plumber flushes the pipes before completing work on your home. I have included a link below to our Help Center with flushing instructions. https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/Flushing-a-Tub-Shower-Valve Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Hello, I need a better diagram than the installation diagram so that I can access the rubber seals inside of the hot/cold on/off selector. I'm sure that mine are clogged, because the flow decreased significantly due to main water supply was repaired.

Asked by: DougR
Hello DougR, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. Low flow is normally caused by a blockage or debris, we would recommend for the cartridge to be removed and soaked in 50/50 white vinegar and water. While the cartridge is out, we advise you to do a full system flush, buy turning the water on at the shutoffs. Wait approx 1-2 minutes before you re install the cartridge. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance.  Best Regards,  Nicole

Just finished install. When filling the tub, there is still a small trickle from the shower head. Is there some sort of adjustment I can do? I did notice a small o ring on the spout diverter can this be removed to increase tub flow?

Asked by: Lbakken85
Hello Lbakken85! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. Unfortunately, it sounds like you may have shower rise. A new cartridge will not resolve shower rise. Shower rise is when the water can’t get out of the tub spout as fast as it flows through the valve. This causes the water to back up and come out the shower head when the user only wants the tub spout to flow There can be one of several reasons for shower rise: The valve could be upside down. The length from the valve to the tub spout is outside of the 8" to 18" rule. There is more than one 90-degree angle elbow. Something other than ½" smooth copper or galvanized pipe was used going to the spout. No push fittings. No "shark-bite" fittings. No cast or drop ear elbows. Something restricting the water flow to the spout, e.g. solder or something lodged in the pipe. (If this is the cause of shower-rise it is possible to remove the blockage by removing the tub spout; then, feeding a plumber’s snake or a speedometer cable up through the tub drop. The act of feeding it causes it to twirl and loosen the blockage. Be sure to flush the valve before reinstalling the tub spout. Be sure to check the tub spout itself for blockage). The obstruction from the valve to the tub outlet must be remedied. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Thank you for being a loyal Delta customer. Best Regards, Carrie
