Rated 3 out of 5 by Laurie N from Disappointed We bought this fixture on short notice. Our old fixture deverter knob went bad. We went to Home Depot and bought the Delta Foundations B114900C-SS. My contractor working on our other bathroom installed it got us. He said It was not working as it should he said something was put in backwards so he had to revise it. Works properly now. I went to use the shower an saw there was no cap on screw hole on the handle. It looks ridiculous. The hole is right behind the handle totally looks unfinished. I thought maybe it was not included in the box so I called Delta CS and they told me there is not one included with this model. Also it’s not all Delta parts the assembly is made by another company. I would not have bought this one had I known it did not include a cap for this hole. Now it’s to late. I’m going g to have to find something to cover the hole water will eventually build up inside. Poor design flaw!!!!:(

Like so many others that bought this faucet and they’re just having horrible horrible problems with it do not be like us do not purchase this faucet. The handle falls off over and over again until you buy a longer screw. Once I put the longer screw in it had not fallen off yet however it moves so much that it’s near impossible to get it at the right temperature. Delta has not been any help and tells me it was a bad install. AVOID !!! My old Delta this replaced was outstanding!!

I want to replace a monitor 1700 series from the brass trim kit to a chrome. Will this fit my current installation?

Thank you for your question, Bobb! The Delta Foundations Tub and Shower B114900C model includes the necessary rough-in valve. If you are planning on replacing this model with another single handle trim, our T17 Trim kits will require an old 17 Series valve or our R10000-UNBX universal MultiChoice valve which is usually sold separately from the shower trim. It working but the hot water dosent want to trun all the way on

Hi Kittykats, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B114900C. Adjusting the rotational limit stop will increase the maximum temperature. Remove the handle and handle adapter. Pull the O-ring to a position where it is possible to slide the Rotational Limit Stop out enough to rotate. After the Rotational Limit Stop is back in place, push the O-ring back into place. Always thought Delta was supposed to be a top-notch brand but why are your products, plastic and not metal? When you do plumbing, everything should be metal, not just the knob, I find that so insufficient.

I have the Delta FoundationsTub & Shower Model B114900C, and the pull up diverter ( RP64721) its NOt moving the water flow to the shower. Nedd to replace the spout gasket,and the obes at retail store , do not fit properly ,does not work .

I have this valve currently installed but want to change my trim color. Is there any other trim kit that will fit this valve?

To confirm it will fit your valve, check that the faucet or trim includes the RP70538 cartridge. In a Stainless finish as B114900C-SS or B114915C-SS. Also, some Peerless Faucet models. I tried to install this cartridge and trim kit in one of the Universal Valve Bodies I already have roughed in. I figured I'd use this kit for everthing except the valve body (toss that out). It seems like the cartridge is a different size. Thoughts?

If you are using any of the MultiChoice, R10000 rough-in valves, you can use any of our current trim kits. Our Foundations collection and our Integrated models will not fit the R10000 valves. Is this model compatible with the 1400 series?

I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! The valve included with this faucet is not the same valve used by the pre-MultiChoice 1400 series faucets. A 1400 series faucet can be updated with a MulitChoice 13 or 14 series trim kit. The new, included cartridge would not fit the old valve. But, the new handle and trim will fit the older 1400 cartridge and valve. Is there a way to get this in Matte Black? I've bought about 3 different trims that are the same exact size as this one, but the screw holes don't line up. I have converted everything else to black and the handle trim is the only thing I can't find.

Just recently bought the B114900C and had it installed, when the cold and hot water main lines get turn back on the water just flows through the tub sprout even when the handle is in the off position really don’t know what can be the reason for this
