Rated 3 out of 5 by Laurie N from Disappointed We bought this fixture on short notice. Our old fixture deverter knob went bad. We went to Home Depot and bought the Delta Foundations B114900C-SS. My contractor working on our other bathroom installed it got us. He said It was not working as it should he said something was put in backwards so he had to revise it. Works properly now. I went to use the shower an saw there was no cap on screw hole on the handle. It looks ridiculous. The hole is right behind the handle totally looks unfinished. I thought maybe it was not included in the box so I called Delta CS and they told me there is not one included with this model. Also it’s not all Delta parts the assembly is made by another company. I would not have bought this one had I known it did not include a cap for this hole. Now it’s to late. I’m going g to have to find something to cover the hole water will eventually build up inside. Poor design flaw!!!!:(

Like so many others that bought this faucet and they’re just having horrible horrible problems with it do not be like us do not purchase this faucet. The handle falls off over and over again until you buy a longer screw. Once I put the longer screw in it had not fallen off yet however it moves so much that it’s near impossible to get it at the right temperature. Delta has not been any help and tells me it was a bad install. AVOID !!! My old Delta this replaced was outstanding!!

Have just installed new B114900C. How can I adjust the flow volume? Now the flow is full on or off. I want to adjust the flow, up and down the range, to a near trickle for my toddler's baths.

Hi iWoodsman, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Our Delta Faucet Single Handle Tub And Shower In Chrome MODEL#: B114900C has a flow rate of 8-10 GPM @ 60 PSI through the tub spout. If you are getting less low, then we would recommend flushing the shower unit, and back flushing the tub spout. Please see the instructions below on flushing. To flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below. 1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle, it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend doing this the night before removing the handle. 2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. 3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks. 4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. 5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body. 6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out, much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds. 7) Next remove the tub spout and use a force of water(water hose) to push water into the tub spout pipe, up and out the rough valve. Lastly, Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. The Tub/Shower should then have a good flow. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Recently, I lose a lot of water pressure when I move the handle towards hot water. I can only get cold water with normal pressure. Water comes out at a trickle if I try to get warm or hot water.

We have recently installed this set in a new shower. However, when the water is flowing from the faucet piece and we have not yet engaged the shower, we are still getting water dripping from the shower head. Do you have a recommendation to stop it?

I have the B114900C tub and shower kit......the spout worked just fine for about a year, now it is "hit or miss" if pulling up the diverter stem will make the water divert from spout to shower flow......usually now it won't at all. Wasting lots of water.
