Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good luck finding a Door that will work with this I see I am not alone in finding that the 36" pan has a 10" long tapered bumper on both sides. I purchased and installed 2 of these and now cannot find a compatible door. I talked to 4 people at HD. No help there.

Installed the pan and enclosures and then realized the raised lip on the base makes the plan incompatible with just about any door -- Delta or otherwise. Called Delta Hardware and they suggested I try to trim a water diverter on the base of one of their doors. Come on!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no door fits Delta responds w their Lindell glass. The photo shows a different pan. The kit walls are 72", the glass is 65 "too short. Still does not contour to the pan. Delta would owe so much money they have choice but to double down.

I am so happy I haven’t installed it yet.. purchased it at Home Depot on the recommendation of the store employees, started our project and did a dry fit when my husband noticed the strange lip on the pan… started doing some more research and found countless reviews stating no door will fit.. Home Depot won’t take back the product since it’s outside their return window, delta won’t stand by their product and admit it’s a faulty design.. the only door that they have recommended is no longer available and nothing else fits .. please just save yourself the hassle and do not buy!!! Box should be labeled with a warning or product should be pulled from stores .. The delta rep I spoke to suggested I read the reviews next time… won’t be needing it, I simply won’t purchase delta again

Then delta support says, "oh, we don't know of ANY door that will work with this pan". They should put a warning on this box of waste! Or better yet, take it off the market!

Will this shower base work with the classic 400 shower walls... 36x36x36

Have purchased classic 500 shower basin. Can I use tile with it instead of the delta walls. How would you install the tiles with the lips on the side and front

I can't find the sealing screws to attach the pan to the studs. The instructions do not provide an image. What other type of screw can I use?

I purchased and installed this shower pan and would like to install a frameless shower door. Due to this threshold lip is is this not possible? Am I now forced to install a shower door with a bottom track?

I just installed the MODEL#: B12135-3636-WH and my Contractor noticed The weird “Lip” that runs across the front of the threshold but only part way. It doesn’t meet in the middle. Can a shower door still be installed, if so which model?
