Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed and easy to install This system arrived at the perfect time. It will be installed in our daughter’s bathroom. We are replacing a one piece tub surround and decided a shower would feel more spacious, allow for guests to easily enter/exit, while still offering easy cleaning with no tile grout lines. The wall surround has a substantial amount of storage for shampoos, soaps, razors, etc. There are three on each end of the wider wall. Delta has put thought into the system and even put textured compartments to make sure things don’t go slipping and sliding. Speaking of slipping, the center base also has a pebbled texture to make sure you’re safe. I also really appreciate that it’s a fairly simple install. We were able to complete a dry fit to make sure everything fit snugly in the existing space. The only step that requires a bit more work is aligning the center drain with the plumbing. Previously, the tub had a left drain, and this shower system requires a center drain. Due to limited time, we decided to hire a plumber to handle this step. After that, it’s just a matter of adhering the system to the studs and applying the adhesive, which should make the rest of the installation fairly straightforward. The quality of the material is exactly what I would expect from a brand like Delta. It’s reassuring to know that if the need arises, Delta support will be there to assist. I’ll update once everything is in place. Overall, I recommend this system.

We look the sleek, modern design and it was fairly easy to install. It’s easy to clean and seems to be very durable as well. We love the shelf space it offers inside also. Overall we’re very happy with the install and the products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super easy install Extremely pleased with how easy this was to install we live in a mobile home so I was kind of worried about the plumbing being an issue. This Delta shower pan was extremely easy to install. I made the perfect replacement for a bathtub.. the base is extremely sturdy as you can see the bottom does have a plywood coating, which is a lot nicer than the other models. I’ve used that are waffle design on the bottom. The walls all snapped into place so easily.

If I use a 1 inch mortar base under my everedge walk in shower base do I put weight on the shower base to push the base down into the fresh mortar until the base reaches the floor/level forcing the mortar into the square boxing under the shower base?

Is there any difference between this Everedge base and the Classic 500 base? A Classic 500 base that I got from Home Depot is broken and that store is an hour and half from me. Lowes nearby me has the Everedge model base. Thanks

My wife and I just had the Delta Everedge 60" x 32 shower base and surround kit installed in our bathroom. It does look beautiful with the Delta shower heads. The one main problem is we are elderly and found that the base is very slippery while showering.

Can an out swing door be used with this base? The 3 piece delta Everedge surround finished dimensions are 43.38 w at top, 43.25 w at bottom, and 72” tall . There are molded water dams at each side of the threshold. Will  swing out door frames clear them?

What is the diameter of the cutout for the drain? Is it compatible for both 1.5" and 2" drains?

Just installed the Delta Everedge shower pan. We are 80 and had it installed for safety.. WE Cannot use it, it is just too slippery. Very disappointed. What can you do to help us fix it so it is no longer slippery? I don't understand why you would .

What adhesive is best to connect the base to a concrete slab in the basement?

I just purchased a new E5 3-piece surround "B12207-4834WH" and a D4 base B78311-4834-WH from a person that decided not to install them. It looks like the three items fit together but the sides of the surround over hang the base a little. Is this ok?

Hi Big Lew, Thank you for your question! The wall panels snap together and the base and tub have a unique flange. When paired with the matching tub or shower base, no caulk is needed on the interior seams. This means water can't get past the twists of the "snap channel" or over the top curve of the tub/base flange, we still recommend sealing around the finished wall perimeter of the wall set.
