Water sits and pools on shelves
Having all these shelves is great for storage but for Delta not to make them slanted downwards so water sheds off of them seems like a major oversight. The water sits and pools on the shelves and this goes against any logical thinking or building of a shower shelf, or alcove. It creates an absolutely unnecessary difficulty and added chore to the user in cleaning. I hate it. If I knew water would pool on the shelves I would have never bought it.

Looks great, installs. Easily and worth the price.
The shower enclosure is great. The bright white finish shines. It is very easy to keep clean, I love it. Installation was simple, the design needs no caulking which is o e reason I chose this Delta enclosure.

We remodeled our bathroom with a delta ever edge shower kit and ever edge frameless shower door. From lowes. It was missing a few parts. We called deltas customer service and we received new parts with in 5 business days. For free. My wife and I installed the unit ourselves, we carefully reading the instructions twice. The installation went very smoothly. We are very happy with our new shower unit. And now we have a new beautiful bathroom . To the delta customer service thank you for your help.

Easy Install!
This was a super easy set up. My husband and I are renovating our bathroom ourselves. The material it is made out of is great quality. No scratches or marks on it. Instructions were simple to follow. We are a family of 6, so the shelving space is 100% perfect for us. So many different places to put stuff. Very happy with this!

Wonderful
I put the Delta 3 piece tub wall set in a home we are currently renovating. It was very simple to install, directions were well laid out. Measurements were exact and fit well. The shelving is great quality and super nice to have as a family of 3. The amount of space the shelves gave us was so helpful and hooks we were able to put on the walls. The material is very durable and nothing cracked or chipped during installment. First time home owner approved!!

Very high quality! I was glad to recieve this because I am remodeling my bathrooms and it fit perfectly! I pretty big in size so be aware of that but its not heavy at all. its not cheap material. Love it

Very nice piece. Feels really expensive. Easy to put up. The box is heavy! So if you’re moving it around just be aware of that. It’s tall and awkward but that’s to be expected considering what it’s for. Highly recommend

Beautiful Look!
This is a very nice and easy to clean tun surround. The contractor had it in in no time thanks to the great engineering of the surround. The smooth curves make cleaning a breeze and it really feels solid unlike other tub surrounds on the market. There is also ample shelving for products which is great if you have a large family. I know that this will hold up to the test of time and made our bathroom look beautiful. Great product from a trusted name!

I just opened the box and I can't find the foam strip (rp103265) also in the instructions it says I need to get a Sill Plate Gasket, I need to know what size for both if nessary?

The foam strip RP103265 is 3/8" thick and 5/8" wide. It is very similar to PVC or vinyl foam insulation tape.
Sill Plate Gasket - also called Sill Seal - is found in the insulation area of the building supply or home center. It is a thin foam material, four to six inches wide. The material is easily cut with scissors or utility knife. It is typically used to separate a wall's wooden sill plate from the concrete or block foundation. In our application, it prevents noise from the wall panel contacting the studs.

I’ve completed the installation of the Delta Everedge 34”x48” shower base & walls. There’s a gap between the side panels and back panel at the top edge of the enclosure. The vertical seams are tight. Won’t condensation run down the gap into the corner?

Can this be installed over wood lath in an older home (still secure to studs) or do we need to remove all the wood lath and only have the studs?

Do you have to use foam tape when installing the walls. If so, what type do you recommend?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B12207-4834-WH.
The foam tape is used on the shower base before installing the walls. The foam is only sticky on one side, 3/8" thick and 5/8" wide. It is very similar to PVC or vinyl foam insulation tape.

Sill plate gasket or sill seal is stapled behind the walls to the studs as shown in the installation manual. It is a thin foam material found in the insulation area of the building supply or home center.

Is the wall thickness more or less than 1/4”? Asking for what size hole saw I should get for the shower handle. The one I have says to do a smaller hole if it is thin wall and a larger hole if it is thick wall.

Even though this is a caulkless design, it seems like it would be easier to clean if the seams between the panels and between the panels and the tub were caulked. Also those 2" deep seams seem like a perfect breeding ground for mold. Is caulking bad?

No caulk is needed on the interior seams. Caulk can be used with the acrylic surface and is recommended around the wall perimeter.

The EVEREDGE™ Shower Wall MODEL#: B12207-4834-WH wall panels snap together and the base and tub have a unique flange. When paired with the matching tub or shower base, no caulk is needed on the interior seams. Which means water can't get past the twists of the "snap channel" or over the top curve of the tub/base flange, we still recommend sealing around the finished wall perimeter of the wall set.
We recommend DAP 3.0, or Loctite PL Heavy Duty Sealant, Loctite PL Heavy Duty Sealant. If these can't be found, use latex/acrylic high performance sealants and caulks that are designed for plastic/polystyrene and do NOT use water cleanup. Other types have the potential of poor adhesion, shrink, and cracking over time.

The included foam strip is part number RP103264 or RP103265. 3/8" thick and 5/8" wide. Only sticky on one side.
It is very similar to PVC or vinyl foam insulation tape, such as Frost King 3/4"x5/16"x10' White High-Density Rubber Weatherstrip

We had to put a few shims under the legs of the tub. We put Foam insulation sealant around the shims for added support to ensure the Shims never move. Please confirm Delta supports this since this Foam works with any materials including Plastics.

We do not recommend using shims under the bathtub. If the installation surface is not level, a mortar bed or leveling compound should be used. Foam insulation should not be used in place of a mortar bed. See more information in the installation instructions here:
