Delta recommends that installation of walls be direct to studs? Can you install walls over dry wall? If direct connect to stubs, do you sell trim work to close gap between existing dry wall and top of wall?

Is there a gap in the corner where the side walls meet the back wall? Or on the top corners of the unit? I’ve recently had this product installed by a professional and I’m noticing gaps  but I’m unable to determine if they are supposed to be there.

What is the finished height when B23205-6032-WH , B12135-6032C-WH , B23805-6032L-WH are installed together. HD website states wall height is 75.88" but when you refer to specification sheets, the components add up to 82".

On the 3 piece wall unit, do you caulk where the wall unit meets the tub? I heard you don't caulk this area, so that the walls behind the shower walls can drain due to condensation and prevention of mold

What is the reason to apply adhesive to the floor ? Not talked about in the written directions but is in the video.

Alternatively: For Sealant only: We recommend using any high-quality silicone sealant that does NOT use water cleanup. For BEST results, use a hybrid or advanced polymer kitchen & bath sealant and caulk that is designed for plastic/polystyrene, and do NOT use water cleanup. Other types have the potential of lesser adhesion, as well as greater shrinking and cracking over time. We bought this shower kit from Home Depot and had a local plumber install it for us. Unfortunately, he mis-drilled for the handle and wand holder, now our handle is at eye level and the kids cannot reach it. Can we purchase just the left upper section?

I have the Delta classic 500 (60 inch W x 32 inch D x 61.25 inch H) 3 piece alcove surround. A plumber did the install and  used a  silicone bead between the surround and the tub. The directions do not direct this.  Is it ok to have this silicone bead ?
