Everyone was damaged the brace that hold the apron was broken, the staples on shipping box together scratch the front of the tub... I wasted a ton of time and than a month on trying to get a tub that was undamaged. I finally got one that was decent enough to install and found out the caulk free installation requires like 6 tubs of caulk and it creaks like crazy... AVOID.

I love how light it is so it is easy to move and install!! What an affordable option for our bathroom remodel! I also included a photo that the box has a little peek hole so you can look inside before buying!!! How smart.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean and modern I received this product for free from Delta and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This tub looks modern and has a beautiful glossy finish. I love the angled back of the tub as it is perfect for relaxation. It’s comfortable to sit in. I wish it would have came with the shower side portion as well so I could see how leak proof it was. My only complaint is the bottom is textured but still smooth so it could be slippery still. Modern design allows for my shampoo and conditioner bottles to not fall off the sides of the tub. I like the color of it because it looks really clean and sleek. Overall great product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful customer service Product came in broken, I contacted customer service numerous times and they finally answered and said they were sending me a new one and that it was shipped out, that was 3 months ago…. Still haven’t received that new one so clearly that was a lie. Terrible experience and now I have this huge box with a broken item in my home taking up a lot of space. Don’t buy. Clearly it’s very cheap material for it to break before even arriving.

I initially overshot the measurements for our tub, which made things a bit complicated. However, with some adjustments, we were able to make it fit perfectly. We also found the shower wall we needed at our local appliance store, which was a big help. The tub itself is very durable, and we were pleased to find that it was easy to clean, making it ready for use quickly. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience!

What is the weight capacity of the Delta 500 bathtub?  I’m nearly 300 lbs.

Bought tub but seems screws will be exposed if I tile vs use surround.  It says tile applications will work.  What am I missing.

Adam…I agree with you. I also just bought this tub and the Delta directions do NOT address how to tile this flange correctly! The flange has a large lip and below that is a deep recess. If you sit the backer, Kerdi, Wedi board on the flange, the tile will sit in front of a huge 1/4” x 1” gap along the bottom row of tiles. How am I supposed to fill and waterproof this gap as well as secure the tile? I have called and emailed Delta (wand included photos and drawings detailing the issue) and am told to look at the directions. I would appreciate a Delta expert really looking at this specific tub flange and providing a detailed drawing

The tub seems to have an issue with leaking at the drain between the acrylic and the black support structure. These two materials form two layers above the drain foot and the water leaks between them. How do I install a drain to keep this from happening?

My skirt has become detached from the double-sided tape holding it to the mounting frame. But my tub is fully installed. Do you have any trouble-shooting ideas on the best way to try to secure the skirting so that it moves less? (without tearing out)

If possible, the support should be attached 1/4" from the bottom edge of the skirt. But unfortunately, it may not be possible with the tub installed. The front vertical flanges of the skirt should be secured to studs with 1 - 1/4" truss head screws to prevent most movement. Please reach out with any additional questions! Is there a trip lever drain that will fit this tub. Neither drain recommended is a trip lever style drain

The drain and overflow will require at least 13 3/4" of vertical adjustment. RP293 and RP393 have been designed to fit Delta bathtubs.
