Is it just the pop-up that is plastic, or is the whole thing plastic
Hello Lori,
Thank you for your question. Our Delta faucets use either metal and plastic combination or a proprietary mixture of components so that the product has a high quality, while maintaining safety control with the various temperatures of water that go through the product. The pop-up assembly is all plastic.

Delta faucet/drain maintenance/cleaning
I recently bought a home and want to be able to clean out the bathroom sink "trap". Down the road I do want to redo the room. But for now, I really need to clean it out. I believe the model I have is your discontinued model#B2510LF-PPU.
Is there a DIY section, to show how to remove the drain stopper so I can clean this up?
Hi Sue, Thank you for your question. Please refer to the attached picture of the pop up drain assembly. You will want to unscrew the nut (1) holding the horizontal bar(2) into the assembly. Next pinch the clip(not pictured) holding the horizontal bar to the vertical strap and slide the bar back enough so it is removed from the loop at the bottom of the stopper(5) inside the drain assembly. At this point you will be able to remove the stopper(3). Reassemble when done cleaning.

Supply hoses should have 1/2" IPS connections, or Female Iron Pipe.
