I've had much easier faucets to install in the past...
I had more leaking with this faucet, in its drain pipe, than I have had with any of the numerous other Delta faucets I have installed over the decades. Finally stopped the leaks, after three different areas had been plumbers-caulked. Also, the pop-up lever pull-rod comes up crooked (it's a bent rod, not your typical straight rod), and I can't figure out a way to make it come up straight. Very poor design - shame on you Delta! For the install problems I had, it was 'way overpriced. But, it does LOOK nice!

Perfect replacement

The pictures looks whiter than our old one, but it actually has more yellow/gold and is a perfect match to other fixtures. The installation was very easy with minimal tools. Handles operate so smoothly--it's incredible after the old single handle one. We are very happy with the product and the purchase and delivery from Build.com.

Beautiful Faucet, Great Value
We were replacing an older delta faucet in our guest bathroom and needed a brass finish because of the gold mirror and brass light fixture over the sink. We were not disappointed with this faucet....it looks gorgeous and was a great value. Only negative was my husband did have a little bit of difficulty getting the stopper pull installed correctly. Very happy with our purchase, the speed of delivery and the faucet itself!

Installation issue.
Just a note for your consideration. Due to the height of today's vanities changing to taller , the drain you supply would not allow connection to the sink trap. Therefore I had to get a plumber and he installed an extension . All is well ,now.

not standard size
Beware .... the stopper lever hole juts out too far from the body of the faucet. My plumber could not install the stopper lever. Now I have to work the stopper manually.
Don't buy if you have a lavatory style sink.
Also the left "H" water lever squeaks and does not operate as smooth as the "C" lever.

Nice design, flimsey construction
Valve stem does not fit well to the handle and does not allow water to flow as expected when handle is turned. The entire handle assembly is unstable, does not seat correctly, and is not secure on the base. It has a considerable wobble. It appears to be prone to a break if accidentally knocked, say by a plastic bottle.The chrome model does not reflect the brushed nickel model shown to us at the store. We were assured that the chrome was just as good, but it is entirely different in quality and durability. A strong chemical plastic odor taints the water coming out of this faucet, and after one week of use, still has not worn off. We choose not to brush our teeth with water coming out of this faucet.

Looks and works great
I updated two bathroom faucets with a Delta Windemere. They look and work great. I ordered these online specifically because they have the metal pop-up (local stores here only carry the plastic ones). Although other reviewers complain about the "looseness" of the handles, I understand their concern but I do not find this to be a problem. A light touch is all you need. There is no need to apply heavy pressure to the knobs for turning on and off. If you're looking for a nice inexpensive faucet this one will do the trick.

Windemere Roman Tub Faucet
I replaced some old, dated faucets on a garden tub for a client and they loved it. It looks great and works great. The extension of the faucet is a good reach to fill the tub. It is a gorgeous finish and nice design. Very good pricing for this attractive, good quality package.

We bought this faucet a few weeks ago at Lowe's and my husband installed it in our hall bathroom. It's the worst thing I've ever seen. I loved it until we actually used it and the handles feel loose and flimsy like they won't take long to give out and it gets the worst water spotting that I've ever seen. It's an eyesore. For the life of me I can't get rid of the water spots! I wish I wouldn't have bought this as we picked up a beautiful Moen faucet for our own bathroom that is much sturdier and has NO water spots. What a waste of good money-

The 25996LF-OB is exclusively sold at Lowes while the B2596LF-OB is available from any retailer that carries our products. Other than that, the faucets are the same.

Is there anyway to restrict water flow to this faucet?
My faucet already has the aerator that comes with the product but I was wanting to restrict the water flow even more. My kids forgetting to shut off the water when brushing their teeth (and other factors) have caused high water bills and I am wanting to conserve water every way I can.

The B2596LF-OB has an aerator that produces 1.5 gpm. We do offer a 1.2 gpm version of this aerator as part number RP61340-1.2 and you can purchase this item by calling our warranty center directly at 1-800-345-3358.

Some of your bathroom faucets recommend a 2 1/2" min. clearance from the backsplash to the centerline of the sink holes. I have 2 1/4". Will I still be able to install the faucet?

Thank you for your question. We recommend having a 2 1/2" clearance from the back splash. Having less clearance could interfere with installation, use, or maintenance of the faucet.

I am not clear on terminology...are there any non metal (plastic,Pex,etc) parts inside B2596LF chrome 413763 Windemere that carry the water. For example the 1/2"-14 NPSM threaded male inlet shanks, internal water lines, etc thank you

What is the aerator size thread and diameter? Is it a male or female aerator? Wanted to buy replacement part from local hardware store.

What are the supply line materials made of?
The building handy man told me not to get plastic supply line since we live in a 42-story high-rise and the water pressure is strong.
