How do I remove the screen to clean it

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B510LF-PPU-ECO2-R.
The aerator and screen are removed from the spout by unscrewing the aerator counterclockwise.

Is the outer body of the faucet made of metal or plastic?

Is the aerator "old" style which I can remove by hand/with pliers or the "new" style which requires the plastic tool?
