Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible button cap Faucet is adequate, but the button cap with all the arrows and the colors is terrible looking they should offer replacement caps like the old ones with the ocean waves.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok but not the best choice Water flow is low and every time using it seems water gets behind the faucet either by a splash or when reaching with wet hands to cut faucet off. Would not purchase again. Does look good however…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced my 45 yo similar Deltas with these. My old faucets worked great for 45 years and finally failed at the joint where body and supply line meets internally. I hope these somewhat lighter weight and less expensive feeling faucets will hold up as long. We bought our home in 1978 while it was being built, so I know what has been done to it. Out of five bathroom Delta faucets, this was only the second one to fail, and both were at the same area inside. I am happy with the life they have given.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not impressed with engineering and quality It is hard to control water temperature with it. Sometimes it feels like a shift stick with only few gears.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement for old faucets!!! We had faucets that were 36 years old. It was past time to replace them. We found these faucets matched up perfectly. Easy to install and we have enjoyed the ease of the movement of the knobs.. Bought 2 of them! No problems after having for 3 months. Definitely would recommend. Nothing fancy- just practical.

I have an older Delta faucet. Not sure of the exact model number, but the instruction booklet is for Models 500, 501, 502, 503, 504, 505, 520, 522, 524, and 525 series. Will the B512LF be the equivalent replacement?

Asked by: Dave
Hello Dave! Thank you for your question! I'm happy to help you. The Delta B512Lf is comparable to the 500 series of Delta faucets. You may also consider the Delta Model 500-DST faucet as well. Is this faucet metal or plastic?

Asked by: Cccccccc
Hello Cccccccc, Thank you for contacting us! I am happy to help you! Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used in the Delta Faucet Single Handle Centerset Bathroom Faucet model B512LF. In general, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Please contact us with any questions or for further assistance. Best Regards, Emma

When I turn the knob to the left I get no hot water and the flow stops. How do I get the cap off to get to the screw under so that I can repair it? Thanks

Asked by: Bruce B
Hello Bruce B, Thank you for your question! We apologize that the information you are searching for was not readily available and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We recommend using a fingernail or push pin for removal of the Delta Faucet model B512LF Single Handle Centerset Bathroom Faucet handle button. Flushing the unit could resolve your low flow issue. Please follow the following instructions to perform the flush. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver and a 3/32” Allen wrench for the knob handle and adapter, a towel, and a bucket. Please remove the top cap to reveal the Philips screw of your handle and use the screwdriver to remove it. Once removed, use the 3/32" Allen wrench to loosen the set screw that secures the handle to the stem unit, then pull the handle off of the stem unit. You will now see a bonnet nut, please remove it with your wrench. Please lift straight up to pull the camp and packing and the ball out. If you look into the valve, you should see seats and springs. Please pull these pieces out before we flush. Next place the towel behind the back of the faucet then put the bucket over the top of the towel. Have someone turn the cold water supply on for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side flush that out as well. Lastly, remove the aerator and soak with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, and make sure to rinse the aerator off with water when completed. Please contact us back directly via email with any further questions. Best Regards, Skyler

How do you get the plastic ball off a Delta B512LF cenetr set faucet

Asked by: Sammy
Hello Sammy, Thank you for your question! I am sorry that the information you are inquiring about the Delta Faucet Foundations® Single Handle Centerset Bathroom Faucet, model B512LF, is not readily available; however, I am happy to help you. The knob handle has a button located on the center of the knob, which can be removed by prying it off with a flathead screwdriver at the spot of least resistance. Under that button, you will find a Phillips screw; once that Phillips screw has been removed, the handle is free to be removed.
