Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design This product required gluing because it’s so flimsy. After necessary gluing, leveling etc. Took first shower and it’s leaking out the side next to the base. The instructions don’t make clear which end panel goes where. There are no markings on the panels themselves. Plus. The base doesn’t have a cut-out in the base on the side like our Kohler brand shower to drain water coming from the panel. Obviously the panel is going to drain out the side unless installed with sides installed correctly. How is one to know which side goes where? The manual instructions are terrible! Don’t buy! Go with Kohler

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Don't waste your money on this product buy one from a different manufacturer. I never had so many issues trying to install a shower surround and I have installed many. They give you no room for error or adjustment so you better have everything perfectly square or you be fixing one problem and creating 2 more in the process. I will never purchase another Delta enclosure again to many other products out there to choose from that probably work much better. I won't mention there names

Can I put drywall over the studs and use the adhesive to put the panels up on the drywall?

Is there a left and right panel  Both peieces seem to be the exact same But when i installed them there is no where to mount the shower door Does that mean the panels are backwards? The labeling on this shower is terrible

Hi, Dustin! Thank you for your question. The Delta B67513-4834-WH wall surround side panels are the very similar in appearance but they are not same for left and right application. Please make sure an additional stud on each side is installed for the door nailer application. The panel that receives the stud needs to be at the front. As always we do recommend to dry fit first. What kind of adhesive do I use for Procrylic wall install?

For BEST results, use a hybrid or advanced polymer kitchen & bath sealant/caulk that is designed for plastic/polystyrene, and does NOT use water cleanup. I live in Texas and I see that the recommended base for this shower unit is not available anywhere in my area. Is there another base that will work with this unit?

I am installing a Delta universal rough valve R10000-UNBX with this shower kit. Can you tell me how much to back set the valve mounting plate between the wall studs? Should the black plaster guard be located with the front edge flush to the face of studs?

I’m installing the B67513-4834-WH into a place with existing studs on the back and LH side.  The stud spacing on the back wall is standard 16” centers so there are only 4 studs on the back.  If I add the horizontal 2x4s will that be sufficient?  Thx

Hi Larry, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B67513-4834-WH ProCrylic 48 In. Shower Surround. I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help! We recommend DAP 3.0, or Loctite PL Heavy Duty Sealant. They are also recommended adhesives. If these can't be found, use latex/acrylic high-performance sealants and caulks that are designed for plastic/polystyrene, and do NOT use water cleanup. Other types have the potential for poor adhesion, shrink, and cracking over time. Any construction adhesive that is safe for plastics can be used, please follow the manufactures instructions for application and cure times. Do any (or all) of your 48"x34" shower wall kits have a flat enough space along the back (48") wall to accommodate a standard shower valve. In our application the supporting (34") walls will be too thin to house the valve body.

Does delta have a shower option 48” wide. X 32 deep that is not curved pan front? We need frosted doors. Can the 34” wall be trimmed? Can we combine 2 kits?

Can this shower surround unit be used with the Classic 400 shower base? The overall width and exact placement of the drain of the Classic 400 are a better fit for my existing, already plumbed, space.
