PRODUCT FEATURES
The 46 in. x 40-3/4 in. Single Threshold Shower Base in White from Delta has a premium high-gloss, nonporous acrylic surface that is durable and easy to clean. This shower base offers strength with built-in, reinforced support and doesn't sacrifice style or design. It has a corner drain design and is the perfect size to fit in a small bath. Designed to pair with Delta 37-1/2 in. x 72 in. Frameless Corner Sliding Shower Door from Delta, which comes in chrome and stainless finish options.

If you’re putting hardy backer down on your subfloor should you put the 38 x 38 corner shower base on top of the hardy backer board or directly to the subfloor

Hi, Mills! Thank you for your question. The Delta B711917-3838-WH 38'' Round Corner Shower Base cannot be installed on tiled or other treated flooring; the subfloor should be plywood or slab, no OSB (particle board) or cement backer board. Best Regards, Rosanna

What adhesive do you recommend for gluing the base to the subfloor?

Here is a list for Recommended Adhesives for the Delta B711917-3838-WH Shower Base: DAP® 3.0™ Kitchen, Bath & Plumbing High Performance Sealant Red Devil® RD3000™ Advanced Kitchen & Bath Sealant ECO-BOND® Kitchen-Bath-Plumbing Adhesive and Sealant LOCTITE PL Heavy Duty Sealant Note the intent of the recommended sealants is to provide those that perform best not only as a sealant but as an adhesive, effectively a 2-in-1. •Any construction adhesive safe for plastics would be acceptable in adhering the the walls to the studs. •Any non-waterbased sealant would be acceptable for sealing the seams (Any caulk/sealant that states water cleanup should be avoided). The intent of the list is to provide guidance to products that perform best in-class for adhesion, sealing, and stretch over time. Best Regards, Rosanna

Instructions for this base say if you are using the matching wall set, install base agains drywall or green board. The wall set says to attach directly to studs.Does not look like this would work. I have the B711917-3838-WH base and the B67916-3838-WH
