Does the cement board come to the top of the flange during installation ? The tile will be installed up to the the top of shower pan,is this correct ?

Thank you for your question, mikey! The cement board or drywall will come as low as the top edge or lip of the nailing flange for the base. The tile or finished wall will be installed further down towards the base of the pan as seen on page 8, step 7 of the Maintenance and Installation manual. Does this shower base come with a smooth floor or a textured floor?

Can this shower base be used as a base for tiling with rock like tiles?

What drain is compatible with this base? The ones i have tried thus far do not work with the pipe sticking up 1.75" from the subfloor.

I will have to install the long side of the shower base and wall panels directly to the concrete block wall as there will be no studs there. Is it possible to install it directly against the block on that one wall?
