Rated 1 out of 5 by from Non reversible Spent way to much to be non reversible. I’m a contractor and will not buy this again. Delta should catch up with times. It’s not a true remodel product. It only works one way. Check before you buy

Q&A

On page 8 step 7 it says to apply a bead of sealant along to pan flange.  I put a generous bead there and continued with the install.  The walls are not making contact with that bead of sealant.  Should I fill that entire gap with sealant?

Asked by: Chris
Thank you for your question, Chris! Any gaps between the flanges and the studs must be less than 1/8”. Please insert shims to fill these gaps if needed. Please feel free to contact us directly if you need further assistance. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/102317%20Rev%20A.pdf Best regards, Edward

I am looking at a custom install situation. I have an existing drain the base will not work with. I can place studs as show in the intallation manual. I do have a relatively flat floor sloping to the drain. Can this door be installed without the base?

Asked by: Jay B
Hi, Jay B! Thank you for your question. The Delta B911917-3838-SS shower enclosure is designed to work with the base assembly, B711917-3838-WH. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the enclosure will work without the base assembly. Best Regards, Rosanna

Does the Delta B911917-3838- use ClearSheild? Or somethign comparable to make cleaning easier?

Asked by: John
Thank you for your question, John! Model B911917-3838-SS has a Brilliance® Finish which resists corrosion, tarnishing and discoloration. The clear tempered glass can be easily wiped down or cleaned with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for stubborn hard water buildup. Best regards, Edward
