Just did a total bathroom remodel and added this to our shower...we have always had great water pressure but putting this shower head in was a downgrade...water trickles out and might look good but definitely a step down for us and wish we had read more of the reviews...I wouldn't choose to buy this again.

The master bath however will NOT stop dripping from the shower head. Customer service has always been responsive but they keep sending the same springs and seals that never fix the problem!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from the product consistently drains water after the shower is turned off. The plumber was called twice to check the leaking shower head. He said it was a fault with the manufacture design of the shower. The water continues to drain out after the shower is cut off. The plumber said he has had several complaints with this make of shower heads.

How do you turn on the shower when water is currently flowing into tub?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model BT14296-OB is a shower only faucet so there would be no tub spout. If you would like a model with a tub and shower, Delta Faucet model # BT14496-OB includes both. The tub spout has a pull-up diverter on it to divert the water from the tub spout to the showerhead.

I need more hot water in the shower. It is luke warm when turned all the way to hot. Is this adjustable? I tried turning the hot water heater up but still only luke warm water in the shower. All the other faucets have hot water.

Thank you for your question, Laura19! The rotational limit stop found on your cartridge may simply need to be adjusted to allow more hot water to mix in the valve. The instructions for making this adjustment can be found on step 3, page 6 in the installation manual. I currently have a 1400 Series shower faucet. Would like to replace with this one. Will I need to replace the current valve?

Hi, FlippingGrl! Thank you for your question. Any new Monitor 14 series shower trim will fit an existing 1400 series valve body. The new trim will come with a new valve cartridge assembly. This new cartridge will not work in the existing valve. You will want to keep your same, white cartridge. If you do need to replace the cartridge, you will want to replace with a RP19804 cartridge. Does the BT14296-OB Windemere have a ceramic disc valve & is the finish in PVD? Thank you.

Hi, Steve! Thank you for your question. The BT14296-OB includes RP46074 valve cartridge assembly. It is not ceramic. The ceramic version cartridge is RP74236. is there anything i can remove from shower head to get more pressure

Hello KP65, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the flow restrictors are not available separately as they are not designed to be removed. This unit is designed to flow at 2.0 GPM. Can I purchase a flow restrictor for the Windermere shower head, and how do I do that?  The plumber removed it and threw it away.

Will the BT14296-OB shower kit work with a 20 year old valve?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # BT14296-OB will work on your current valve if it was a 1300/1400 series already. You will need to keep your old cartridge as the new cartridge will not function properly.
