Roman Tub Trim in Chrome

Hi, aphbc! Thank you for your question. To determine if the BT2710 will retrofit on your current valve body, you will want to look at your current spout assembly. If your spout assembly has a small set screw located in the back of the spout, instead of the front where the water flows from, the new trim will retrofit on the current valve body. If the set screw is located in the front of the spout where the the water flows from, this will not retrofit on your current valve body. Thank you for your question, Pierson96! The Delta roman tub trim T2710 should cover the existing holes on your fiberglass tub. If this is not an option, a fiberglass repair kit or silicone sealant may also be used. Thank you for your question, DrRon! The stem unit assemblies can be switched out for the RP24096 stem assemblies which are metal and designed to work with set screws that come in from the side. Thank you for your question, Bill! Model BT2710-SS has a spout reach of 6 7/8" (176 mm). It does not have a longer spout that can be substituted. You may want to look at some other models if a longer spout is needed. If you look on the back of your existing spout of your 2710/2711 model and there is a set screw on the back of the spout, then you will not need to replace your existing rough in valve. Any of the Delta Faucet 3-hole installations will work with your existing valve. If there is not a set screw, then you will need to replace the valve with Delta Faucet model # R2707 and any of the trims.
