Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 thumbs up This is my favorite rough in valve. The built in shutoffs are super convenient in the installation process, but also, if the cartridge ever needs to be cleaned or worked on, you can shut off the water right at the valve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked well, easy to install We got the one without the bottom fitting for the tub as it's just a shower and this made for one less fitting to solder. It's described as a high flow but that was one disappointment with the delta system is the flow is a little low. I think hand held/fixed shower head combo is the problem. I'm going to check it to see if there's a flow reducer that I can remove or drill out.

I need the high flow valve, but I need PEX connections. Do you make this valve in PEX? If not, what is the suggested valve?

Dear Stacy, Thank you for your question! I will be happy to assist. You are able to purchase R10000-PXWS or R10000-MFWS and plug the bottom port for a shower only installation. The PXWS is a PEX Crimping connection and the MFWS is a PEX Cold expansion connection. Since the tub port is the only port that is NOT a PEX connection, you are able to solder the plug. I have a hanshower and rainhead. I'm using a r11000 rough and a r10000-unbxhf shower only valve. Since I'm using a diverted rough the r10000unbxhf is OK?

Can I just purchase new valve cartridge(s), washers (O-rings?), and springs for this model? Bought from Amazon July 2017 but was not installed in my shower redo until Jan 2019. Shower head and hand shower head are both dripping.

I use to have a 1900 series Rough in (Michael Graves2006) T1928856 R19000 T19588-ss. Had Inconsistent hot temps with my Well Water System pressure 45-60psi. Is R10000 UNWSHF the best for more flow and hot temp? My 14 series oth showers have good temps.

The Delta Faucet MultiChoice® Universal High-Flow Shower Rough - Universal Inlets / Outlets MODEL#: R10000-UNWSHF is used for shower-only models. Since this valve body does not have a bottom port, it gives the unit a higher flow for the showerhead. This will give 1.0 GPM more flow rate. What is the difference between R10000-UNWS and R10000-UNBX? This is for a shower/tub combination trim kit. IS there a difference?

Can I use this rough valve as a tub filler with a 17T series Delta Trim kit?

Unfortunately, the HF(HighFlow) rough does not have a tub spout port and we do not recommend attaching the tub from the top due to the lack of GPM from that port. Can the rough in (shower outlet only) be installed upside down?  My water supply is coming from above and the outlet connections are in each other’s way (shower jet is coming from the left).  Trying to avoid making 2-90 degree turns.

The Plummer reversed the hot and cold water can I switch it on this valve?

Our Delta R10000-UNWSHF is recommended to have the hot and cold supply installed properly, this will assure that there is no issues during use and prevents issues in the future. I have the R10000-UNWSHF and the Speakman Neo Dual Function Pressure Balanced Valve Trim Model: CPT-1000-UNI-BN with it. Neither the Delta Faucet RP47201 MultiChoice Cartridge nor Delta RP19804 1300/1400 Series Cartridge seem to work. Help!!

I am using the R10000-UNWSHF for a shower only application. Can I install the rough-in upside down? The shower controls are on one wall while the shower head is in the opposite wall. I would then install an Ashlyn In2ition trim if possible.   Thanks!
