Unfortunately, it's already installed in my new shower, behind some nice new tile, and the one shower kit that works, even though it's a Delta, looks like it belongs in a Minecraft World, it's so square shaped. My bad, I guess, for taking the universal part seriously.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major flow restriction This rough-in "Delta R22000-WS" with the service stops has a huge flow restriction in both the hot and cold inlets. although this rough-in can accept 1/2 pipe connections there is a restriction in the inlet that is at best 1/4" round hole causing a serious restriction and pressure issue at the shower head. I was hesitant to install it but after being reassured that it would be fine, I went ahead. Unfortunately, as I suspected the pressure at the shower head is bearable until I try to use the shower head and body spray at the same time. Very disappointing flow rate. My supply pressure to the rough-in is 60PSI but it's not enough to overcome the built-in restriction that's in the rough-in body. I now have to tear down my brand-new tile shower encloser and replace the rough-in. I need to know if the Delta R22000 has the same flow restriction as the Delta R22000-WS?

I have a similar rough in valve in my new construction home - when I remove the outer plugs I notice green corrosion deep inside the valve - is this normal ? should the valve be replaced before completing the construction?

I have 3 of the R22000 installed, and they all have degrees of trouble adjusting temp. On the worst one, no matter where I turn the temp adjuster, all I get is 100% hot...or 100% cold. There is no in between. Its 100% cold until I go all the way right.

how can handheld shower work without overhead coming on? will not without overhead diverter is in position 3

I have an RS22000-WS with a 6 position diverter than has been dropping ever since my contractor put it in a few months ago. It doesn't matter what position it's in, it slowly drips. Where do you recommend I start in order to troubleshoot this?

The issue is likely caused by damage or wear to the rubber parts. Is there a diverter valve offered that can operated the shower and the tub filler. If not what valve combination will accomplish this operation.

If you are looking for a shower and tub trim unit, you will need the R10000-UNBX rough in. You will be able to use any tub/shower trim. It will allow the water to drop down to the tub spout first. I installed the R22000WS, and I am having trouble adjusting the hot limiter, it will not allow me to go from Cold to hot, only Luke warm to hot, or warm to Scalding hot. Is this normal? Thanks

I recommend fully opening the stop on the cold water supply and checking that the cartridge is installed correctly. If the hot and cold supplies are switched, the limit stop will limit the coldest temperatures instead of the hottest temperatures. Looking at the drawing of this value it looks like the piping is on the right and top for the outlet while the picture shows it on the left and top for the outlet.

Hello Jake, Thank you for your question, I would be happy to help you. The R22000 allows for all 3 ports to be used depending on the items in your shower. Top port normally goes to a shower head, then left port would go to 2nd item while 3rd port would be plugged. Now if you were adding in a 3rd item you would plumb that to the 3rd port, All of these setting will be directed by the cartridge that comes with the trim kit.
