Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaky tub faucet Cannot stop blow back thru faucet onto wall when shower diverted is pulled up. Five or six attempts, lubed O rings, wrapped Teflon tape around threads..nothing. I am beginning to think this very expensive faucet is faulty internally. Good experiences with multiple Delta bathroom fixtures until this.

I currently have tub spout RP100453SS installed and it is excessively long. Can it easily be replaced with RP100452SS? I do need the diverter function but do not care that it is included.

Will a universal adapter work for this spout?

Hi Travis, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP100452SS. This spout includes an RP100154 tri-universal adapter. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/100838%20Rev%20C.pdf Thread using iron pipe with 1/2" NPT threads, Sweat with copper 1/2" tube using solder sweat joint, or Slip-On with copper 1/2” tube using supplied set-screw and O-rings. How far out from the wall do my threads need to be for the adapter for this spout?

How does this tub spout install? 1/2" ISP? or another type of installation? More information would be helpful.
