Nice shower upgrade
I recently installed the Delta 342701-BL Monitor 14-Series raincan shower system in my bathroom, and I’m thrilled with the results. The matte black finish gives the space a sleek, modern update and makes the bathroom feel high end without looking over the top.
One of my favorite features is having two different shower options. The raincan shower head offers a soothing, spa like experience that’s perfect for relaxing, while the second shower head delivers a strong, direct spray for when I need more power. Switching between the two is effortless, and both function perfectly. The water pressure is steady and satisfying, and the entire system feels sturdy and well built. Installation was also pretty straightforward if you’re comfortable with basic DIY tasks.

Great quality!
I love Delta products. I used to work for a big corporation supplying products to builders and Delta was one of my top brands to offer. This set is beautiful! The matte finish looks modern. The product feel heavy and good quality. Very excited to have this in out of our small bathrooms.

I need help with figuring out how the handle is to stay on the hot/cold panel? I think there may be a part missing? When the handle is put on there is a huge gap and the handle does not stay on.

We just installed the monitor 14 shower valve. When turning the handle left from the “C” or Cold position, the handle stops at the “12” o’clock position and will not turn all the way to the “H” or Hot position. What is wrong with the installation?

Is there a shower arm that is longer and will allow the shower head to point vertically down for a rainfall effect?

We manufacture different shower arms for different installations. The Delta faucet T14467-BL-PP includes a standard shower arm, however, the RP46870 will work in a standard installation. If you are doing an entire renovation and have a connection on the ceiling you may need to use a vertical shower arm. Please refer to the links below.

Are there longer screws available for this trim kit? I am upgrading my shower trim with the delta T14267-bl-pp and the screws that came with it to attach the escutcheon are not long enough.

Where do I find a thick wall installation kit for this? The provided trim screws do not reach their mounting points in the wall.

How do I get the handle off to adjust the water heater temperature? What size Allen wrench do I need? It seems like a very difficult task to be able to adjust the inner water temp setting. I was able to get the button off and then wasn’t sure what to do.
