Bad Change
I have read previous review, and I am seeing similar issues, I replaced the same faucet with a new that had worked for a number of years. I initially thought that I was not installing properly, but I cannot get the new faucet to stop leaking, I wasted $40 at Ace, now I am looking for a different option.

No set screw for a 80 diverted basic faucet
Didn’t come with set screw and ahit straight off the pipe! Can only replace delta with delta and they can’t even make their own stuff work with the items that are out in by contractors. So annoyed.

Ours has lasted.
We have had ours for 27 years and only now do we need to replace it. I’m looking for the part and hoping the newer ones last as long.

Excellent spout!
In the past several months I did some updates to my shower. I recently got a Moen Verso showerhead, and I wanted my Delta valve trim and spout to aesthetically match my showerhead in style. For the valve trim I went with the Delta Modern Series.
For the spout, I went with this one with the pull-down diverter. It has a nice modern design that seems to go well with my valve trim and showerhead. It fit right onto my existing Delta adapter with ease. The best part about this spout is that the diverter completely seals while showering, resulting in higher shower pressure. I would definitely recommend this spout if you want to improve your shower pressure.

Don’t buy
Had installed for less than a year and it leaks out when trying to shower. Go with something that has less plastic components.

Awesome product & service
I've had this tub spout 3 yrs and noticed issues with the finish when I removed it to work on the shower grout. After contacting customer service, Daishana handled it smoothly and in a professional and quick manner. The spout has been exceptional with no issues and I highly recommend it, Also, their customer care group is always outstanding!

The diverter allows allot of water to leak
My 15 yr old tub spout diverter started squealing and needed replaced. You would think you could access the O-rings inside this reliable spout but I was told it has to be replaced. Got the pull down one and when activated it isn’t stopping the water flow. Please go back to the old 1990 style Delta.

What O ring is needed for the RP17453PB pull down diverter. I have a leak from the diverter behind the tiled wall.

we have a RP17453 in our bathroom.Guests at times can't figure out how to turn on the shower. When installed this came with a sticker to be installed on the spout where water flows into the tub. Can we get a replacement sticker from you?

Thank you for your question. The RP17829 and RP17472 are the stickers that inform others of how to use the RP17453. These stickers can be purchae from any local or online dealer that sells Delta products.

What is the difference between the RP17453 & RP17454
Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. The tub spouts are the same except for the materials used to make them. The RP17454 is metal, the RP17453 is non-metallic.

The item RP17453 is fit for pipe protruding 3.5" from the wall?
Thank you for your question, Raymond! This tub spout will sweat onto a smooth copper pipe extending 2 - 4" from the finished wall, or thread onto a 1/2" IPS nipple extending 5/8 - 1 5/8" from the finished wall.

The inside of the tub faucet I am replacing has a piece of plastic that slips onto the pipe. I need to match the current faucet that is 20+ years. How can I see the inside or figure out if this faucet will work?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a photograph of the inside of the Delta RP17453SS tub spout assembly. However, the tub spout sweats onto a 1/2" C.W.T or threads onto 1/2" IPS nipple. The RP12307 adapter assembly is included for installation.
