Bad Change
I have read previous review, and I am seeing similar issues, I replaced the same faucet with a new that had worked for a number of years. I initially thought that I was not installing properly, but I cannot get the new faucet to stop leaking, I wasted $40 at Ace, now I am looking for a different option.

No set screw for a 80 diverted basic faucet
Didn’t come with set screw and ahit straight off the pipe! Can only replace delta with delta and they can’t even make their own stuff work with the items that are out in by contractors. So annoyed.

Excellent spout!
In the past several months I did some updates to my shower. I recently got a Moen Verso showerhead, and I wanted my Delta valve trim and spout to aesthetically match my showerhead in style. For the valve trim I went with the Delta Modern Series.
For the spout, I went with this one with the pull-down diverter. It has a nice modern design that seems to go well with my valve trim and showerhead. It fit right onto my existing Delta adapter with ease. The best part about this spout is that the diverter completely seals while showering, resulting in higher shower pressure. I would definitely recommend this spout if you want to improve your shower pressure.

Awesome product & service
I've had this tub spout 3 yrs and noticed issues with the finish when I removed it to work on the shower grout. After contacting customer service, Daishana handled it smoothly and in a professional and quick manner. The spout has been exceptional with no issues and I highly recommend it, Also, their customer care group is always outstanding!

The diverter allows allot of water to leak
My 15 yr old tub spout diverter started squealing and needed replaced. You would think you could access the O-rings inside this reliable spout but I was told it has to be replaced. Got the pull down one and when activated it isn’t stopping the water flow. Please go back to the old 1990 style Delta.

How do I clean water spots from this stainless water spout - mine has white water spots that I can't get out.

Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward.

Does this model fit on brass adapter?

This Delta Faucet RP17453 Pull-Down Diverter Tub Spout does not utilize an adapter. This tub spout is designed to sweat onto a smooth copper pipe extending 2 - 4" from the finished wall, or thread onto a 1/2" IPS nipple extending 5/8 - 1 5/8" from the finished wall.

The included adapter can thread onto a 1/2" IPS nipple extending 5/8 - 1 5/8" from the finished wall.
This spout is non-metallic with our Brilliance Stainless finish. Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer.

Upon turning off the water, the pull-down diverter snaps back quite heavily and loudly. What can I do to soften the snap back?

I have a 2003 home with delta control in the bath tub/shower. The pull up diverter on the tup spout has failded. It has 1.25 inch threads, which I can find anywhere. Do you have a spout with either pull down or pull up diverter and 1.25 inch threads?

Why does my tub faucet leak after the shower diverter has been engaged?

If the tub spout diverter is not stopping the water, the tub spout may need to be replaced. A thin stream of water from the tub spout can be normal and shouldn't affect the showerhead flow.

For model RP17453, the instructions on your website imply the supply pipe can only extend 3/8" to 1/2" out from the wall. Is this a correct interpretation? My supply pipe is 4" to the end of the screw-on fitting.

I want to replace the pull down RP 17453 for a pull up spout. Problem is the adapter is soldered to the pipe, looks like the diameter is 1 3/8”. Is there another Delta pull-up spout that will fit that adaptor?

Can you suggest an oil rubbed bronze equivalent that will work with a soldiered on delta brass adapter. I don’t want to have to cut off the already installed adapter to update the look.
