Hi Scott, Thank you for your question! If your 3 handle faucet is a Delta product and it was manufactured before 1990, then the RP21598 and RP10799 diverter assemblies will fit the valve body. If your 3 handle faucet is a Delta product and it was manufactured after 1990, then the RP17730 diverter assembly will fit the valve body. If you are installing the correct diverter assembly and your faucet is still not functioning properly, then the valve body itself may be damaged and it will need to be replaced. The RP10799 diverter is manufactured for valves installed before 1988 and the RP17730 diverter is manufactured for valves installed after 1988. Hello Rabbit, Thank you for your question! I am sorry that you are experiencing these concerns from your Delta Faucet Diverter Assembly, model RP17730; however, I am happy to help you. The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. If it does not, you can try soaking the cartridge in white vinegar for about 15-30 minutes. Please contact us with any questions or for further assistance.
