I have this spout (original in house build in 1996) and would like to update the whole trim kit to brushed nickel and updated handle . Can you please let me know what updated trim packages I should look at so that I can do this without issues? I

Why does my newly installed tub spout with diverter not shut off, drop down when shower handle is moved to the off position? Only drops sometimes, but very infrequently. When it doesn't drop, will sometimes drops when handle is turned on and off briefly.

Can you purchase the spout only without the adapter?

I currently have this tub spout. I want to get a new tub spout that has a diverter on the side to do a hookup for the shower. I can’t seem to locate one online. Any help is appreciated.

I have the adapter that is soldered on and you just screw the tub spout on.. Will this work with that???

Our RP19820 is a slip-on tub spout. However, the RP5834 uses the RP12307 adapter that has a sweat onto 1/2" C.W.T. or thread onto a 1/2" IPS connection. It will fit your existing adapter as long as it is a Delta Faucet Company adapter. We cannot guarantee our products will fit another manufacturer's product.

This item looks to have been discontinued - is there a replacement tub spout that still uses the rp33794 adapter and comes in stainless steel or brushed nickel finish?

The recommended replacement for the Delta Faucet Tub Spout - Pull-Up Diverter, model RP19820SS, is model RP36497. However, this model does not come in a Stainless or Brushed Nickel Finish. My second recommendation is model RP41591, which is also available in Stainless. I have included the links to these models below, and they may need to be copied and pasted into your web browser.

My Delta bathtub spout looks just like this one, but it is plastic with a chrome type plating. The opening on the back of the spout appears to be almost one and a quarter inches wide and screws onto a brass fitting. Do you know which spout I need?

Looking into this, it appears Delta part number RP5834 can sweat onto 1/2" C.W.T. or thread onto a 1/2" IPS. This tub spout will have a plastic insert that threads on to the brass adapter. Your feedback is important to us, as it helps us refine our products and services.
