Q&A
Does the Delta RP19895 chrome tub spout have a set screw or does it just unscrew off of 1/2" copper tube. It has an access (or drain) hole on the bottom near the tub wall. All I can feel with my finger is the smooth 1/2" tube.

Is this a replacement for RP7533?

Thank you for reaching out to Delta Faucet Company!
No, our RP19895 threads into the nose of the spout and does not have the same type of connection as RP7533 does. The RP7533 uses a sweat/threaded connection, using an adapter. The RP5834 can be used instead of RP7533.

My mom is elderly and her thumb and pointer finger are too weak to pull the pull-down diverter on her bath tub sprout for a shower. Is this a model you would recommend for her? What other suggestions do you have?

Which valve do I need to order with this tub spout RP19895

Looking into this, tub spouts connect to a 1/2" copper or iron galvanized piping. Depending on the type of connection, some of our tub spouts have an adapter to solder or thread to the tube or even threading into the nose of the spout like RP19895.
