All plastic and too scary to install
Very disappointed. I bought this to replace an old tub spout that had internal rusting. I have always had good luck with Delta products. I ignored the one star reviews that had issues with the internal plastic piece cracking, leaking and causing water damage. I recieved this today and immediately sent it back. The shell is also plastic and could easily be broken if someone bumped it hard with their leg. It is very nice looking and has a very nice machined brass adapter, other than the diverter knob and rod the rest is plastic. Too scary to install so I sent it back.

99 cent o-ring fails on a $100 faucet
Finish held up but the o-rings in the faucet failed causing water to spray behind the wall, down into the basement. There doesn't appear to be a way to replace the 99 cent o-ring. Now I have to buy a $100 replacement. This was installed several years ago by my plumber so of course I do not have the receipts.

Great customer service and product
My tub spout was purchased 5 years ago. It was stripped when removing it for a remodel. Delta customer service replaced it free of charge. I am a Delta customer for life!! Great customer service. It is a quality piece. Very heavy and works well. We have had no issues with the entire tub/shower set.

Just needed the guts.
Bought this for the plastic innards. Brushed nickel is discontinued so I was able to get the guts of this out and into the existing one. I think it ought to be sold as such, being plastic and prone to failure so easily.

I have this tub spout in our bathroom along with the rest of the bath/shower kit. It has a white plastic funnel type part that goes from the adapter to the spout. The end of this plastic piece broke where the spout threads on. Is that part available?

I have the RP12307 adapter soldered on my copper pipe. Will this just simply screw onto the existing adapter? I am not able to find one anywhere else

I had the white plastic break on the inside of the spout and would like to get a replacement via warranty.

Unfortunately, the finish Pewter is discontinued. Items are discontinued from time to time due to a number of things. Items may no longer meet certain certifications or the style is no longer in demand.

We have 2 Victorian bath/shower combinations in our house (Venetian Bronze), put in when house built in 2007. Both leaking at the spout diverter when using shower, water leaking out spout during shower. Can these please be replaced under warranty?
The plastic adapter on the inside has broken loose from the downspout. Is there a free replacement of the downspout or is purchasing a new downspout necessary?

If your having a issue with your RP34357 tub spout, the whole tub spout would have to be replaced. There is no repair kit for the tub spout itself.

My valve diverter on the tub spout has completely fallen off. Having taken off the spout from the wall I find that the white plastic piece that screws on to the copper piping is 1 inch diamete. The one online here is 1/2 inch. How do I get the right size?

All of our Delta tub spouts attach to a 1/2" pipe coming out of the wall, the white plastic is an adapter that comes inserted into the tub spout, that can be removed.

Will this unit screw onto the existing adaptor attached to the 1/2 inch pipe from the wall from the original unit?

Our RP34357 uses RP12307 tub spout adapter. It will fit on an existing RP12307 adapter, however, we still recommend updating the adapter for a better connection.
