Connection Issues.
I bought this as a replacement for a worn out handshower. The old one was a Delta as well.
The diverter and hose units are not included with this handshower replacement. I found that the handshower and the hose attachment were not a match. I have contacted Delta and purchased the hose that fits this unit.
I recommend these items be purchased as a unit. I thought all hookups conformed to ANSI standards, but the threads are different.
I do have every expectation that the handshower itself is an excellent product, you simply may have connection problems during installation.

brand new install. the water flow is very weak. why?
the item D57014 has a very weak flow. My plumber who installed all the other items (controller, rain shower head, etc) cannot get a strong flow. Without the head attached, the water flow out of the coil is strong. What is the problem?
Hi Sue, Thank you for your question. It sounds like some debris may have gotten into the showerhead. There will be a debris screen in the base of the handle that can removed, cleaned, and replaced. This should restore the flow to the showerhead.

We have good water pressure in o ur house but cant find a good shower head that gives us the pressure l like. What is the pressure on this one?

Photo for model RP48769 does not show a male hose connection. Since I will mount this on the deck of my Jacuzi tub using the knuckle shown on photo sent to you. Is this model compatible? My knuckle is chromed metal and the chome is coming off on places.

How can you increase the temp of the hot water

Thank you for your question. The Delta 3-Setting Hand Shower RP48769RB is not designed with a temperature adjustment feature. The 3-Settings are the different spray patterns for the water flow.

the face or exterior ring appears to leak, maybe an o ring is there a replacement part?
I observe a relatively heave flow at the bottom of the head (at an angle where there are no nozzles. About three years in service.

What is the thread size and type? I have a different hose that doesn't quite fit this hand shower, I'd like to use an adapter.

Yes, this hand shower is included with the 57014-RB slide bar. Any of our other hand showers can also be used to fit this hose and slide bar mount.
