Weak Pressure & Poor Coverage
I paid A LOT of money for a shower head that gives poor coverage and weak pressure. My decorator, plumber, and contractor insisted that Delta was the best. I can't agree less. I have another bathroom to remodel and I will not be purchasing this product again.

Plastic handheld
Sprays water in three settings as outlined. All plastic construction, use with care, a gentle hand. Finish is nothing to write home about, if you have hard water routine cleaning may ruin the clear coat finish. High price as are items in this finish. I will try a different model when a replacement is needed.

Replaced broken handheld
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace another handheld sprayer I also purchased here online. Love the look but this sprayer does not appear to have the same pressure as the last hand held. Does the job but would prefer one with more presser on the other settings. Looks great.

Perfect Match

Works great but has a drip issue.
I remodeled a shower stall and installed the Delta handheld shower (57021-RB, Leland style slide bar, hose, and handheld shower) in conjunction with a standard shower head and diverter valve. After a couple of years, the handheld shower (RP48770-RB) would continue to drip after shutting off the water. Even turning the diverter valve to allow the connecting hose to drain did not improve the situation. For whatever reason, the handheld shower would not drain except by violently shaking the water out. Even after that, it would sometimes continue to drip when placing it back in its holder on the slide bar. The folks at Delta customer service are very good about satisfying a problem, so they sent a new hand piece. Having said, I would still like to know what is going on internally that has caused this issue. I will install the new one when it arrives, and I hope the problem goes away. Delta has numerous later models of the handheld shower, and I would go with one of them. I doubt that the RP48770-RP is still being manufactured, although there still seems to be some in inventory.

My handheld shower (RP48770) has started to leak on the outside of the sprayer and has a very weak spray pattern. Is this part of my warranty, if so, can I get a replacement?

I currently own a hand shower model #RP48770RB in Venetian bronze. I need to buy a replacement hose. I can't seem to be able to find a part # for the hose. Please help get the part number so that I can order.

My shower head started to leak water out of the main body and the water shooting out of the holes is much lower because of this. It started happening after we didn’t use the shower for about 10 days.

The mount we have for this needs to be replaced. The set screw is stuck and there is an extra hole in the metal for the top to attach through with Philips head screw. It will not sit on wall flush now and continues to fall down.

Water half flow and dribbling, How do I replace internal components

Our RP48770CZ cannot be taken apart. Please soak in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for 30 minutes. You can also scrub the nubbins with a soft tooth brush and a 50/50 solution.

Is there a repair kit for this shower head? Mine is leaking around the area where you select the type of spray. Very little water is actually coming out of the shower head.
