Preferred Shower Head
We love our Delta Rain Shower Head. We weren’t sure about having one, but decided to install both a regular head and the rain head at the suggestion of our contractor. We use the rain head 75% more than the regular head. The square brushed nickel design is sleek and timeless. An added bonus is that it’s easy to clean. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!

had this for about 5 years - highly recommended
we bought this about 5 yrs ago or similar model from delta - the kids LOVE this - there isn't an annoying in-your-face spray and it still looks just as good as when we first bought it and has been trouble-free all the while. We're buying another one for the new house ! Plus it does swivel just a little bit- just what we need ! Easy to install

Not for Use with Hard Water
Product has a great design (the reason for purchase) but clogs easily if you have hard water. It requires you to dismount it clean the plastic pores and run CLR through the shower head. After a couple of times of taking it off in the last two years, it now leaks.

The bottom, where the water comes out and what you see is black plastic with grey nipples and looks really bad. The top and sides are chrome which look fine but the bottom is really bad looking.

Whats the difference between this product and RP53496SS

There are some small differences in the shape of the shower heads and the nubbins, but the biggest difference is that the RP53496SS is made of metal and the RP50841SS is not. I hope this was helpful! Can this be mounted flush with ceiling?

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP50841 shower head has a flow rate of 2.5 gpm at 80 psi. This will not be available to ship to California. The Delta 52841 shower head is similar and has a flow rate of 1.75 gpm at @ 80 psi and will ship to California. Here is a link to this shower head:

Had this shower head for 9 months and a few of the nubbins have no water flow. Is there a way to fix this ?

I need a sloped ceiling adapter for your rainhead shower delta RP50841
Thank you for your question, Lee in PC! We do not manufacture a mount/adapter specifically for a slopped ceiling however you may mount this shower head flush with your ceiling as long as the pipe nipple is exposed to hook up the water supply to the shower head. This can be used with a straight or standard shower arm as the shower head is adjustable up to 30 degrees in every direction.
