Great shower head.

I want to mount this on the wall but with a vertical orientation rather than at an angle. What is the part number (CZ) for a shower arm that comes from the wall but results in a vertical rainfall shower? Is this shower head suitable for such an install?

Shower head and trim compability
I like the PR51305-ss shower head, I also like the BT13010-ss shower trim. Are they compatible together? If so, what rough in kit is required?

The raincan showerhead and valve trim you mentioned are compatible. You would use the R10000-UNBX rough in for this trim.

I only measure 6 quarts of water in a minute. I soaked the shower head in vinegar, cleaned out the nozzles with a toothpick, and installed a new debris screen, RP43621. None of these things helped. We have great municipal water pressure. Any suggestions?

If the flow rate issue remains after cleaning, the showerhead may need to be replaced. I recommend running the shower for a minute with the showerhead removed to confirm the flow to the showerhead is good and to flush the shower valve.

Shower head RP51305 has started to drip. Did not see a gasket or O-ring. There is a greyish plastic piece that turns 1/4 counter clockwise. Should there be a rubber gasket and what is the plastic piece? Would replacing either fix drip possibly?

Have shower head model RP51305RB. How do you change gasket insert number RP43621?

Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. The Delta RP43621 is the only removable debris screen gasket we offer for our shower heads but is not included with all models. Some models use an actual flow restrictor which is not removable instead. The Delta RP51305RB does not have a removable gasket. The water flow is extremely weak due to hard water build up. Will the shower head unscrew so i can soak the entire head in a bucket of vinegar water or do I hold up a bucket for 15 minutes with the head submerged?

The showerhead unscrews, and trapped sediment can be cleaned from the screen or connection. I recommend using your finger to wipe the nozzles to clean the build-up.

In my area, the water has a high mineral content and can build up in the flow restrictor. Is the flow restrictor on this model easily removable? Would there be any problem with performance if I took it out all the time?

Unfortunately there is not a removeable flow restrictor. We recommend soaking the showerhead in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to remove mineral build-up when necessary.

I’m getting wild spritzes of water out of several holes. Don’t seem to be able to wipe them away. I stupidly tried cleaning one with point of toothpick,but it pushed in rubber nib. Now it’s clear but bigger hole. Can’t get others to clear. Suggestions?
