The spray from the showerhead is large and very gentle. We also installed a handheld sprayer and 2 wall mounted sprays. We feel like we're at a spa now!

The replacement shower heads failed after two years. I gave up on Price-Pfister and bought Delta shower heads. They work great. No problems. A definite upgrade.

My old showerhead was a few inches smaller, and this gives a better stream with the water saver left in it. Easy to move direction of stream in any direction (360 degrees). Matches my older stainless fittings so replacement was a breeze. I was nervous about the larger size but it worked out fine. I use this in a master walk in shower.

The area of flow covers the entire head and is really nice. I have also taken it apart to clean the inside, and still no leaks when put back together correctly. I am only writing because I read a bad review and don't believe it was warranted.

What tool do I use to attach this? Mine are all slipping.... Can't get it tight enough to stop leaking.

Thank you for your question, kfmcgill! A Delta shower head is designed to simply thread onto the shower arm without the need for tools. Per the Maintenance and Installation Manual, we do recommend using three or four passes of thread seal or plumbers tape to ensure this does not leak and also advise taking care not to over-tighten this connection to avoid damaging the unit. Hand tight is sufficient; however if needed, you can wrap a rag around the connector and finish tightening with an adjustable wrench. Best regards, Edward

Can this shower head function well at an angle on the wall like a traditional shower head?

I realize this shower head is a raincan shower head, but since the flow is "full body spray" at 2.5 gpm, I'm wondering whether it will function well if used in a traditional shower head setup with a short arm extending from the wall and the shower head at an angle.

Hi Dr L, Thank you for your question. To operate this shower, you will need a Rough-In Valve (R10000), Trim Kit, and shower arm, and flange. The shower arm will need to be ceiling mount or a 90 degree wall arm (RP61273 or RP46870). What is the recommended height for a raincan shower installation? Do you have a photo of this shower head installed in the "traditional format" -- not sure if I have enough height to install with the U6930 based on the height of the pipe from the wall.
