Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap Plastic This product is made from cheap plastic. I paid $100 for plastic. Every other company makes it from stainless steel to last. This is so fragile I'm afraid to install as it will break. I now have to pay for shipping to return.

We just had this "tub spout" installed. Similar to Kate's question above, the water does not come out cohesively from the faucet but only on 2 sides. Will take a long time to fill the tub and looks like it's blocked. Not asking if recalled, but broken

Hello Greg, Thank you for reaching out to Delta Faucet Company! The RP53237SS tub spout has a dome-shaped piece where the spout is. Water is designed to go around this piece to limit water pressure. The tub spout port has a maximum flow rate of 8.6 GPM @60 PSI for the R10000-UNBX rough in, however, this means the actual flow rate will depend on the pressure coming into the home. Since the aerator/screen is not removable how do you clean out the debris clogging it and restricting flow? You can't take it out and you can't get to it from the other side. This is starting to look like a disposable spout.

I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! This tub spout's stream straightener is designed to allow the full flow of water and does not include an aerator or flow restrictor that can catch common water debris and reduce the water flow. If mineral deposits build up over time, we recommend soaking in a solution of 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinsing. Can i get a longer spout of 10 inches?

What is the diameter of the base on this faucet - Lahara non-diverter RP53237?
