The Delta RP61274 Shower Head put the final touch on our new bathroom remodel. After trying the smaller 6" version that was rated at 1.75 GPM, we were very disappointed in the lack of water pressure. The switch to the 8" 2.5 GPM made all the difference!

We bought this head for the design and rainshower effect but after a few yrs of use it started to perform poorly.
We took the head off and soaked it to try and help flow but to a avail. It doesn't appear there is any calcium build up but the flow has become increasingly poor.

What is the primary material used in this shower head? The finishes include stainless steel, but are those parts metal (brass) with a stainless steel finish or is it a plastic base?

I am hanging this shower head from the ceiling and need the pretty pipe in stainless. The shower head is approximately 9 feet in the air.
What part or model number would you recommend.
Hi P M, Thank you for your question. We offer 3 sizes of ceiling mount shower arm and flanges in the brilliance stainless (SS) finish. The 3" long U4996-SS, the 6" long RP61058SS, and the 9" long U4999-SS.

how to clean inside shower head

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP61274 shower head can be cleaned by removing the shower head from the shower arm and placing it into a bowl of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight to clean any debris that maybe caught inside of the unit.

Is this product LEED certified?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP61274 has an output of 2.5 gpm at 80 psi. LEED certification says that the shower can be no more than 1.75 gpm at 80 psi so this is not LEED certified.

if they begin to build up deposits from the water can the be cleaned with vinegar bath like coffee pots are?
Thank you for your question, Howard! All Delta shower heads can be cleaned by applying a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to clear up mineral buildup. We advise rinsing off this mixture when done to protect the finish.
