Will the spout self-thread onto an unthreaded copper pipe or will I have to cut threads first?

My tub spout has 3/4 pipe threads with 1 1/4 stub out. Will this faucet work

The RP61357 requires the piping to be 3 7/8" inches to 4" inches from the finished wall. Our RP84412 and RP90158 will fit 1/4" inch to 1/2" inch stub out. We appreciate your inquiry. How do I tell this is a delta faucet. Ordered from Amazon. No where does it say delta on it or the box.

Hi im have order this part from lowes and they only sent me outside of the spout. Where can I find the inside piece of the spout the plastic pipe which connects to the main water pipe and the rings which hold the pipe.

I have a delta threaded tub spout that is leaking when the shower is on. Will a worn out o-ring on the delta brass slip-on cause this issue, or do I just need to replace the spout?

What is the OD of the spout body where it meets the wall? Is there any eschusion rings available to match this spout?

The RP61357BN spout that you have has a 2-15/32" diameter. RP52148SS has a diameter of 3-1/2", and RP34357SS has a diameter of 3-1/8". These spouts may be large enough to cover the exposed hole.
