Is this a universal fit spout? What thread size is required if soldering to a 1/2 inch copper pipe. What is the recommended distance from the wall to the end of the threaded copper pipe?

Does this spout screw onto an existing Delta adapter that is Already sweated onto a 1/2 inch copper pipe

Pipe is 4 inches from the wall with 3/4 tread type diverter to shower is like the picture at the elbow push up for shower...... Having a hard time with Lowes and Home Depot a.s.a.p. on this 35-year-plus-old part... There is no product description...

Hi Valued Customer, Thank you for your question. The Delta Diverter Tub Spout RP61357OB is the matching tub spout for the Windemere collection and can be installed with a "Monitor" unit. This spout will thread onto a 1/2" copper pipe into the nose of the spout. Please see the tub spout installation instructions below, for the diagram (A). https://www.deltafaucet.com/files/live/sites/delta/files/customer-service/FAQs/Tub%20spout%20install.pdf The RP64721OB tub spout can either be installed as a slip-on to 1/2" copper pipe and held on with a set screw or threaded directly onto 1/2" IPS. The spout includes a threaded adapter however this can be removed if it is not needed. Hi. I have a question regarding my original being designed with its pull stem being located at the back 1/4 of the spout rather than at the front.  Is the length of 1/2" threaded pipe the same 3+" as RP61357BN?  (All new ones have its stem at front.)

Hi Joel, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP61357 tub spout. This spout threads to a 1/2" pipe in the nose of the spout. Other tub spouts may not install the same way. Tub spouts with the diverter in the back include RP100196, RP90158PCPR, and RP103401PCPR. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan

I have the short brass delta adapter soldered onto my copper pipe - will this spout fit on there? I ordered one where the threading was all the way in the nose of the spout and it was much further away than the delta threaded part I have.

I have a RP61357OB spout that I need to install over a copper pipe. After cleaning the pipe with emery cloth is there anything else I need to do before installing the spout? Is there a link to instructions?
