Q&A
if the wall pipe connection isn't long enough to thread into the spout, is there an adapter I can use to connect it?
I am replacing a tub spout. The old one screwed off fine, but this model's threading is deep in the spout, the copper pipe is a bit too short to reach. Do I have to call a plumber to re-do the pipe or is there an adapter I can get to extend from the end of the existing pipe to the threading of this spout?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP61357OB does have the threads in the nose of the spout. We do not offer an extender for your existing pipe.

Can the diverter valve assembly be purchased separately?

Delta send me a replacement RP61357OB. Problem is the old one is stuck, won’t easily unscrew counterclockwise. I called Delta & was told to use hot water/vinegar at the wall. Makes no sense as the threading is in the nose. Please advise for safe removal.

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP61357OB Tub Spout Assembly threads directly onto a 1/2" pipe near the nose. An adapter can not be sweated on.

Thank you for your question. Any Oil Rubbed Bronze trim kit will work with this tub spout, such as model 142984-OB-I20 or BT14096-OB.

I have a tub spout diverter thats uses a RP12307 adapter. I want to replace my spout in oiled bronze. I need something like part RP19820SS but in oiled bronze instead of stainless steel. Does this exist?

is this tub spout a Delta "Monitor"

Thank you for your question. The Delta Diverter Tub Spout RP61357OB is the matching tub spout for the Windemere collection and can be installed with a "Monitor" unit. This spout will thread onto a 1/2" copper pipe into the nose of the spout. Please see the tub spout installation instructions below, for the diagram (A).
